  1. Relax, doc... it's a squirt gun!
  2. It's an outlet for something...
  3. Geez, doc... watch your language! The children...
  4. Godspeed, Danno! May you find the appropriate outlet for your pithy witticisms...
  5. I'm a parent of children, and I don't see a problem!
  6. Hmmm... I didn't notice the feathers. I was looking at something else...
  7. They could save themselves a lot of paper if they made the instructions exploded views with each step numbered in the order of assembly. No English, German, French, Spanish, or Swahili required.
  8. Very nice! You are one of the best builders to post here. And as Sammy Davis would say... "And I mean that, man!"
  9. Only a sharp-eyed model builder would ever notice that!
  10. I don't see much to criticize here. It's beautiful! I love the black and white color scheme.
  11. I love to see someone using logical thinking...
  12. I've heard that the reason they teach algebra, trig and geometry in HS is not so much to make mathematicians out of you... but it's a way to teach you critical and analytical thinking skills, which you will need in the real world if you're going to make something of yourself.
  13. I hear you on that! I remember trying to help my kids with their homework. There's something very humiliating about not being able to help your kid with his homework... because you don't understand it!!!
  14. Thanks for the links, Ken! BTW... I changed your topic title just to make it clear.
  15. Ok, I have to ask.. how does a 7 year old become a huge Titanic nut? Did dad have anything to do with that?
  16. I've always thought that "Fabulous Hudson Hornet" was a great slogan...
  17. I had to take algebra, trigonometry and geometry in HS. To this day I have yet to have come across a situation in my day-to-day existence where I had the need to know any if them.
  18. Like Eelco said, it was just a matter of bad timing. We had another thread on the same exact subject that I locked because it had pretty much run its course. Your thread was locked (not by me, but by another moderator) because it was about the same thing that the other thread was about. Don't be offended, and keep on posting. Nothing personal regarding locking your topic... it was just a coincidence that you posted the same thing that we had just locked.
  19. That's about my speed when it comes to math!
  20. You and me both. Math was always my worst subject. It's all part of that left-brain, right-brain thing.
