  1. Very nice and clean, typical of your excellent work. Two questions: 1. Is this a model of a real car, or is this your own "what if" idea? 2. Did you forget to foil or paint the "Camaro" scripts???
  2. Both the 1952 and 1953 had chrome grille surrounds (or not)... depending on the model. http://www.cartype.com/pages/3681/sears_allstate__1953
  3. The car in the picture is a 1953 Sears Allstate Coupe. Sears sold this car (which was a re-badged Henry J with minor trim and interior changes) in their catalog in 1952 and 1953. Yes, you could actually buy this car out of the Sears catalog! Sales were pretty weak, and Sears got out of the car business after only two years. More info on this particular car here: http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z11422/Allstate-Coupe.aspx Who got it right: sjordan2 Thom MrObsessive Badluck13 mr chips Draggon Stasch Modelmartin lordairgtar paul alflen Nitro Neil Chillyb1 wisdonm mazlak my66s55
  4. Agree with the others! Nice!
  5. So many to choose from, it's almost impossible to narrow it down. My top two: 1966/67 Charger and 1967 GTX. And there are a TON more MOPARS I would add to the list, but I'll keep it to the top two. (Actually I would add ANY MOPAR muscle car from about 1963 or so to about 1974 or so). Am I a MOPAR fan? Oh yeah!
  6. Mike, add an outside rear-view mirror and a radio antenna and you'll be good to go...
  7. These ultrasonic cleaners have been around for a long time. When I was in college back in the stone age (actually the late '70s), Rapidograph sold one that cleaned their technical pens. I never bought it, though... the pen set was expensive enough, especially on a college student's budget!
  8. Actually, I was asking for your benefit. I figured it would make a great Christmas present for you!
  9. Does it also work on dentures?
  10. So here's the obvious question: What did you use for the "snow?"
  11. I think we'll be seeing Rodger's name a lot come next football season. The guy is good! Brett who???
  12. That is a great question!
  13. Driving a vintage RR must be so cool!
  14. Shooting a preliminary coat of clear gloss is one way of sealing the tape lines.
  15. Geez, I hate to nitpick... but you got them both wrong... It's FAVRE and RODGERS... Don't hate me...
  16. So why are you messing with Valspar if you already get good results with Duplicolor and Testors? If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
  17. Probably make a lot more if the model actually floated!
  18. You mean Haught? And I still haven't gotten mine yet!
  19. Remember, don't post any hints or answers here; send me a PM with year, make and model. The answer: 1953 Sears Allstate Coupe
  20. Overall.... better. For the most part Tamiya kits are very well engineered and generally don't have the problems that many U.S. kits have. That's not an absolute, of course, but in general that's the case. And you did ask about "overall"...
  21. Oh yeah?!!! We'll see who's laughing when they produce a kit of the Reeves Octo-auto!!!
  22. Ummm, you mean go PACKERS!
  23. I see that Cranky has spared no expense on the photo backdrop!
