Very nice and clean, typical of your excellent work. Two questions: 1. Is this a model of a real car, or is this your own "what if" idea? 2. Did you forget to foil or paint the "Camaro" scripts???

The car in the picture is a 1953 Sears Allstate Coupe. Sears sold this car (which was a re-badged Henry J with minor trim and interior changes) in their catalog in 1952 and 1953. Yes, you could actually buy this car out of the Sears catalog! Sales were pretty weak, and Sears got out of the car business after only two years. So many to choose from, it's almost impossible to narrow it down. My top two: 1966/67 Charger and 1967 GTX. And there are a TON more MOPARS I would add to the list, but I'll keep it to the top two. (Actually I would add ANY MOPAR muscle car from about 1963 or so to about 1974 or so). Am I a MOPAR fan? Oh yeah!

These ultrasonic cleaners have been around for a long time. When I was in college back in the stone age (actually the late '70s), Rapidograph sold one that cleaned their technical pens. I never bought it, though... the pen set was expensive enough, especially on a college student's budget!

Overall.... better. For the most part Tamiya kits are very well engineered and generally don't have the problems that many U.S. kits have. That's not an absolute, of course, but in general that's the case. And you did ask about "overall"...
