  1. Amen, Charlie. You said it.
  2. All are extremely nice... but my favorites are the black Deuce and the '65 Galaxie.
  3. That's my plan...
  4. ok, you're going to have to explain the unconnected muffler and the rear spring setup to me...
  5. What happened to the photo of that really scary guy in your signature?
  6. Oh my God! (sucks)...
  7. I think they look kinda cool like that...
  8. These parts aren't cast, they're actually printed layer by layer in 3-dimensions... so no mold release agent is used.
  9. Hobby Lobby has a much wider selection of models than Michael's, and they offer a 40% off coupon every week. You can either download the coupon on the HL web site or get it in the Sunday paper.
  10. If that is really only your second effort, all I can say is you are a natural! That looks better than what many people could hope to achieve after years of practice! Very impressive work for anyone, but even more so for a "beginner".
  11. What's the deal? Are you getting paid per hit?
  12. If the "same size box" was so important to them, why didn't they take the largest car, scale it down correctly, make a box to fit, and then put all the other models in the same size box? Too logical??? And besides that... a '59 Impala was 211" long, a '59 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 was 225" long, a difference of 14"... or in 1/25 scale, less than half an inch. They couldn't fit a 1/25 scale Impala and a 1/25 scale Cadillac in the same size box???!!!
  13. Ok, I admit the "flower" is a lawn ornament.
  14. Yup, the house is real!
  15. Those are all terrific!
  16. Doug Updegrave Jerry Attrick Patty O'Ferncher Chris Anthemum Ivana Tinckle Tyrone Shoelaces and the famous Hawaiian king Kamanawanalaia...
  17. 1. There are no tracks big enough to run them. 2. The blocks are not hollow, they have internal parts (cams, crankshaft, pistons with connecting rods, etc. You'd have to cut away all of the internal structures to hollow out the block. 3. You'd need a big electric motor! A Pocher kit weighs a lot!
  18. Real or model? The answer: REAL!
  19. Manuel Transmission... Mike Ruffone... Sharon Sharalike... and when Bart called Moe at the tavern, and Moe puts down the phone and asks everyone, "Hey, is Amanda Kiss here? Everybody... I'm looking for Amanda Kiss"... the list is endless...

    32 Ford's

1/8 scale: Sorry... old photos, not very good.
  21. I guess so. It's still decal paper you're printing on, so they would apply the same way.
  22. Alps is a specific brand of printer that can print colors, plus white... so you can print decals that include white as part of the design on clear decal paper. A "regular" printer doesn't have white ink, so if the decal you want has white as part of the design you'd have to print on white decal paper and trim the decal exactly around the edge of the image. The problem is, Alps printers are no longer being sold here (I think).
  23. I don't build 'em to play with 'em...
  24. A little early, isn't it?
