  5. bill, you are truly a master model builder. you are making the rest of us look bad. cant wait to see this one in person. will you be coming to omaha in a couple of weeks? hope to see you there.
  6. i remember the one that you did and if i remember right it inspired me to get started on this one. the interior is almost done...just need to glue in the seats and make some seatbelts. it is flat black with a vertical tuck n roll just to add a little interest. i also gave it a woodgrain dash. i will post pics when i get time. thanks for following along.
  7. thanks. i use dupont urethane clear shot through a sata minijet gun. it goes on nice and smooth the first time around and no polishing is required.

  15. ive been wanting to try more weathering and rusting so with a little inspiration from the doc, here is where im at.
  16. what you are looking for is the Tudor Sedan. and revell did make one around the same time as the 5 window in the pic above. both kits are about the same except the sedan comes with a flathead instead of the hemi. also the 5 window comes with steelies and baby moons, and torque thrust wheels; with more traditional hairpins and the sedan comes with only torque thrusts with modern hairpins. hope this helps
  17. Looks real nice. Pretty simple kit but does build up pretty nice with a little effort
  18. i dont know why so many people are so picky about the little things. we should just be happy that something new is being released and that it is a car that everyone has been wanting to see for a long time. if you dont like something about a kit, then dont buy it and let the rest of us enjoy it.
  19. but that looks more like a modeling bench, not a meth lab, the glasses must Bryan's
  20. thanks for the kind words everyone. like ive said before, im not a very big chevy fan, but i do love gassers and the box art just grabbed me right away. thanks again. andy
  21. my clear hood isnt too bad. would like to use it but would probably ruin it cutting the hole for the scoop.
