love everything about this one! where did the brass knuckles come from?
  2. thanks guys. the door lines were done after the clear with an ultra fine sharpie. tried using thinned down paint but i didnt scribe the lines before paint so they were very shallow and the paint didnt want to flow in very good.
  3. made the side trim with small round stirene strips...dont remember what size. slightly sanded to flatten it a bit and blend the ends to the fenders.
  4. thanks guys. yes i did add the side trim. thought it needed a little something.
  5. My 93 Harley sportster has a bored and stroked 88 inch monster in it. a lot of motor for a bike with ape hangers. and my 07 silverado has a 6.0 in it
  6. oh, and shane, the air cleaner is from replicas and miniatures of maryland.
  7. thanks everyone for the wonderful comments. when i come up with this color combo, i figured people would think i was crazy, but all of the great responses made me think different. austin t, the color of the interior is tropical turquoise from model master(no. 28114)
  8. The motor and all of its accessories are from replicas and miniatures of maryland
  9. thanks. are you guys talkin about the silver truck with red wheels...pretty sweet. i actually have a 34 on the bench that will be a lot like that one but im going to use an 8 carb hemi instead. as far as this build goes, its been on the bench for a bout a year. ive been struggling on what color to paint it...body color kinda determines frame and motor color for me. hopefully something will come to me soon.
  10. Thanks. The tubes are made by stretching sprue to the right size, then drilling holes in the right places, glue em on and insert the wires...pretty easy.
  11. thanks guys. the only rear ride issues i had were withe the shocks not fitting very good because of the exhaust, but whatever, you cant see the underside when its sitting upright.
  12. tires are from modelhaus
  13. chopped, channeled, and lowered. RMOM ardun and scot blower kit and MCG chopped p/e grille. slow build, but would love to get it done this year.

  16. ok, finally got this one done! color is honda imora orange pearl(tri coat) from dupont followed by dupont clear. went a little different route as most guys and didnt use the fender skirts and also added side pipes from the 62 catalina kit. wired and plumbed engine. i will be moving this one to underglass but here is a pic anyway.
  17. Nice job on that 48. I'm building one and also used the thick stun air cleaner. Did you have a problem with clearance of the coolant tubes?
  18. Very nice. Love that color! I definitely will be using it in the future.
