  1. This is awesome! I am a big wagon fan. You have done some very impressive work here. With the wagon being 1/25 and (I assume) Ferrari parts being 1/24, it should work out very close to reallity. Keep up the nice work!
  2. I'm anxious to see this through. Excellent subject choice.
  3. Welcome to the club. Sounds like you are where I was 3 months ago.

Brett, I don't think the pipes will ever get noticed with that paint job stealing the show,lol..again, I've never thought about "fixing" a snap kit. You got me thinking... I got a '65 Coronet that needs alot of help........
  5. Update: 4 more pups this morning! Another one didn't make it:( We have 9 alive, Mama is wore out but otherwise fine. Doc, I haven't got my new computer yet (I'm on a cell phone) but when I do, I'll be proud to post a few pics. They will probably look alot like Midnight, being Am. bull/Boxer mix.
  6. Can I PM you? I like what I'm hearing, just not sure I get it all?
  7. Got tar coated copper flashing, just never thought of cultivating it for modelsi Excellent, thanks, Bart
  8. I have NO idea. Sorry, but I do have 2 '63 Furys on the bench. 1 Factory stock, the other balls to the wall pro-touring. I would love to see this!
  9. Darby Doll gave birth to 7 puppies today. 2nd one died but 6 are strong & healthy! She even let Maggie (Impala eater) sniff 'em & check 'em out. Just a follow up, sorry very little styrene involved.
  10. BTW, Darby Doll, My Johnson's American Bulldog, Had 7 puppies today. 2nd one died, but 6 are going strong. And she let Maggie (Impala eater) get close & sniff 'em! Cool chick!
  11. Jon, That's actually helpful. I envisioned bendind everything, but a nice whack(not on a puppy) could work as well in the right area.
  12. Scott, Thanks for the tips. I have a Q about #3. I assume that deals with scratching? I plan 1st to try an engine bay, & if That works, the bed&sides of a pickup. Shouldn't I make all my bends 1st, & then polish?
  13. This old guy has an endless supply of groovy stuff. aluminum sheet, tube brass rod. Name it! All he wants is to talk. If I had a couple $100 & 3or4 hours, I could make out like a bandit. He knows it too, no problem. Except he only opens his shop when he wants to, which isn't very often. I went by there 3 times thois week; closed. I'm gonna keep tryin'.
  14. Have you worked with it much?
  15. That's looking nice. I've been seeing a lot of these lately. How hard would it be to make a car hauler out of this kit?
  16. I bought a piece of K & S Engineering aluminum that is .016x4x10 for $1.20. I've never incorporated metal into a build, but it seems very easy to manipulate. I can get much more. Is this a good deal? It seems very inexpensive to me, which should be good enuf. Just looking for opinions?
  17. Nice from top to pavement, front to rear! Awesome rod. Attaboy to ya!
  18. Put the fan belt assembly on before you glue it to the frame.
  19. Not necessarily only Ford/Lincoln. If I can post pics by then I will finish my '48 Woodie & dedicate it to Woodrow Wilson! Dang it!! That's still a Ford!......Just got a big shipment back from Chrome-Tech today. 1/24 Harley anyone?
  20. Ahhhhh. The naiveté of youth.
  21. It's hard to beat shiny black, & that looks great from where I'm sitting. This is actually the last kit I finished.
  22. I LOVE this. I would consider putting smaller tires on the trailer, though. You could fool a lot of marine challenged people like myself that way! Nice combo.
  23. Nice job with the foil! I like this kit & car & your work on it.
  24. What is the title of the Tommy Ivo book? Is there more than one, if so which are you recommending? I'd like to read it. Thanks
