Good, this is 1 more thing I'm re-learning. I couldn't believe I left the door open! New studio, new puppy. My horrified gasp (almost a scream) scared her so bad, my guess is styrene is off her diet. Live & learn! Thanks for not hurting your pets. They can only do what you allow them to do. It appears that nothing actually got swallowed, Maggie's fine. I've been wanting a '61 Olds 98 from Resin Realm anyway........

OUCH!!! I know That guy personally!!! -
When I first pulled all my old kits out of the closet back in October, I got to wondering how many new kits I had missed out on. So when I got web access in December I started searching & was pleasently surprized how many cars I have owned that had been released. I'm starting with my '69 Chevy truck & going from there.

Amazing skill & patience.

I love these kits. got 2 waiting on deck. So real I can almost hear the roar & feel the earth tremble. Do Hemis always "lurk" under the hood? This one does. Very nice color combo as well.

Modified "Yellow fever" Drag Truck

This has GOT to be the craziest, most impactical, scariest show truck ever! I love it. Great imagineering. -
Yeah I read that post & got all confused, lol! Chuck Most said the Black Magic IS the same formula. I'll be getting LA's Totally Awesome as soon as I find it.

Thanks Chuck, splish splashing tomorrow!

I love this kit. I need to start it before I rob too many parts from it! Nice Hemi so far. I like the green too. Same body color or.........

I tried this in the How do I section with no response, so; I found Black Magic brand Bleche White at WalMart. It's even spelled the same as Wesleys. Am I safe in assuming it's the same formula for soaking resin parts?

I am in the process of building my first. It's a replica of a '69 Chevy phantom SS 396 truck. I had actually gathered the SS badges from a '66 Chevelle SS and a hood from a '68 Chevelle SS for the hood bumps to graft on to the hood of my truck. Mechanically it was finished. I had the seats & console from a Blazer lined up but not yet purchased when I got t-boned by a speeder running a stop sign. Totalled, frame too bent to save! That was in '06. I just got back into modeling recently & decided I would finish my truck in 1/25 if all the parts I wanted were available. They exist! I only need the P.E. set for the SS trim, it's on the way, and the 6-lug rally wheels that the factory most likely would have put on this phantom. Thanks to Sam Cates, they're on yhe way as well! I have already grafted the hood parts together & the grille from Bandit Resins is gonna take a bath tomorrow night. The 396 + 4-speed is coming from Revells 66 Chevelle wagon, so I'll be able to use the left over P.E. parts on it at a later date. I did just start this & have a long way to go. Shaved the 350 badges from the cab. Chrome trim & Cheyenne badges will come off next, as I can imagine GM would have done in giving this truck the "SS" treatment. The chrome rocker trim from the wagon will go on the cab & shortened bed. My plan was to paint it metallic black because that's what my 1:1 was, but I'm kinda leaning towards Cortez silver with black SS stripes. I'm gonna also TRY cutting the tailgate trim off of my donor '68 El camino to replace the CHEVROLET script on the trucks tailgate. AC unit & accessories will come from a '70 Monte glue bomb I picked up from Fred's for $2. Sounds good to me, we'll see if it works!

I just got a nice set of the '65 Riviera wires for a '53 Ford bashed w/a '94 'stang Cobra. I started it long ago. Apparently the wheels were the missing link that was holding me up. -

I still like wire wheels on certain cars, but does that white thing qualify? As a car? Different strokes............. -
I don't remember ever seeing one black on black w/black trimmed wheels. Nice build, you can't argue with shiny black done right. I like it!

I agree, Doc. Anything that puts the wind through my hair/scalp can't be ugly anyway!
