1960 Ford F250 4x4

Check the resin section. I recently asked about a '51-'52 conversion. Someone makes one, but I can't remember who. -

Bartster - grilles are year-unique from '61-'66. I had 1:1 '62 & '66,so knew the subtle diff between '1 &'2 & the BIG diff between '5&'6. Is the diff b/w '3 &'4 major? I guess I never payed close attn to the 'middle' ones. -
This is why you don't use Testor's tube glue

Or better yet, I'd take it off your hands! I'd say you have a very fun project there. -

I was building a "hopper" Impala called "Dancing Deer", but my kids puppy ate it! -
Ditto what wheelman said. One of my favorite sources is Freds Model Car World. I just received 4 builtups, purchased solely for parts. Usually $2-$4 parts. Newts Boneyard is also a great source. Hope this helps.

No, Johnny. That's why I said opinion!? We, as a nation, were led to believe it was a race to the moon. I don't harbor that belief at all. IMHO it is & always has been about military superiority. Another debate altogether.

Motor City Resin has an excellent new '66 short bed transkit that would get you the body ($72.50 shipped) & I think Modelhaus has the '63-'64 grille that might work on it? The rear wheel openings are different on the unibody also. -
This is a matter of opinion rather than fact and should be an interesting debate. IIRC the original "race" was to the moon, which we indeed won....if you believe we were there. The collaborative effort of the international space station would indicate there is no present "race".

This is very encouraging. I have a similar project in the planning stages involving new Challenger running gear + an older Plymouth. The color is perfect! I would go with the RR steering wheel.....unless you could graft part of the Viper dash (guages) to the RR dash? Yes, go with a wing as well! Lower would be nice. It looks awesome no matter where you go with it!!

I've been wanting to get this kit. Yours looks really nice. Any problems with assembly?

Yes everyone, the thread title is VERY misleading. I am a life-long animal lover & my daughter's puppy was NOT hurt in any way other than scared by my shocked gasp that was a reflex action. We have this 4 mo. old red heeler pup, a 3 yr old American Bulldog/Boxer mix, who is my best friend in the world. A 2 yr old Johnsons American Bulldog who is gonna have puppies ANY day now. we have a yr old cat, a canary, a hamster, 2 miniature fainting goats, 3 chickens, 1 rooster, & 3 ducks. We live on 4 acres 18 miles from the nearest town, but I would hesitate to call it a farm. All we grow is fruit & vegetables. None of our animals is "livestock", they are all pets. We are transplanted city people who have lived on this "farm" for 26 months & my wife, my daughters(16 + 10) and I are all animal lovers who have taken advantage of our otherwise dire situation to bring the joy & responsibility of multiple pets to into our lives. We don't belong to any animal rights groups, are not activists in any way, but we keep our little corner of the world hate-free & beautiful as possible. I was merely expressing frustration with the thread title. That said, it has been VERY refreshing & heartwarming to find so many other animal lovers in this forum. I apologize for offending anyone. In hind-sight, I'm quite certain I would have been offended by this; again, just frustration guys. Please rest assured I would never hurt ANY of our animals. Now I'm gonna try to change the title, because I know there has to be alot of similar HUMOROUS stories of our beloved pets "finishing" our models for us! Again, I'm sorry to offend. Sincerely, Bart.

So cool. My father-in-law has a 1:1 that is his "farm rover". No foreign ATVs on his land! This is really cool. I've seen em, but never considered getting one......til now.
