  1. Did the Bullitt Mustang have headers? I didn't know that.
  2. The Trailways bus would have to be 19 1/4 inches long to be 1/25. It's actually about 18 inches long. I have a Scenicruiser plastic bus about the same size as this Trailways bus. They don't look too bad with 1/25 scale surroundings, but they are a tad undersized, especially the width.
  3. I've been using that very glue for years now.
  4. Neat idea...You could also build a van truck if you wanted. Again, you have a neat idea, hope to see it built here.
  5. The purists must be comparing the 1971 style Mustang to the original Mustang. For the record, a 1971 Mustang was only 1.5 inches longer, 1 inch taller, and slightly narrower than a 1971 Camaro. I have never heard of the 1971 Camaro being called too large. Sounds like Ford got the size about right - for 1971, at least.
  6. My favorites are cars made from parts of other cars: I do need to work on my photography.
  7. Great thread. My sons have no interest in the hobby.
  8. Is there a flyer or anything on this show? I'd like to know more about it.
  9. I'm not selling mine. I like it too much!
  10. Shows what I know about racing, I guess....
  11. Isn't this a '72? I thought the '73 had the energy absorbing front bumper(?)
  12. I'm not a caster, I just may be confused, but I thought rubber was gassed in a vacuum pot, and as you said, resin is pressurized.
  13. I guess it's the people who treat you well you have to focus on.
  14. Thank you. I like your full name as listed under your avatar...ain't it the truth!
  15. I can see the end of the road for us file and sandpaper guys. 3D printing is getting better all the time, and I need to learn to draw in 3D or get left behind.
  16. Thanks! The more parts, the less affordable. That's why I'm doing a '76 Montego, you can use the (Revell) Torino interior. I've also considered doing the performance dash, I've just been overwhelmed with projects. I'm not against doing a '72 Montego GT, but if it requires me to make an interior, the price will go up. I'm basing all the Montegos on the Revell Torino, because it's much easier for the buyer to afford than the arguably superior JoHan kit.
  17. Thanks. I fixed that notch at the lower rear part of the cab.
  18. I would assume it would be a similar kit to this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-1978-Thunderbird-resin-kit-1-25th-Ford-T-Bird/154383045151?hash=item23f1f2521f:g:Ae8AAOSwFSpfC4U0
  19. More likely they want to track your activities to aim advertisements toward you (and your phone). From Rachael, the Paypal moderator: Thanks for posting in relation to this issue.Unfortunately it is not currently possible to use PayPal without a mobile phone number attached to your account. This does not need to be a smartphone, a basic mobile will do. We use mobile verification as a means of confirming your identity when you are accessing your account.Rachael
  20. I hear what you're saying, but we want to keep the cost down. I don't think we'll do the frame, but I'll see about the bench seat. I hadn't actually thought about the Deserter having buckets.
  21. I haven't tried it, but the Deserter should work fine. The 1978 Chevy grille will be supplied with the kit.
  22. I can't speak for the caster, but in the past projects have been announced here.
  23. Thank you. The truck is based off the old MPC 1978 kit, which is 1/25.
  24. https://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/25-1959-edsel-villager-wagon-resin-1850506352 Looks like someone has done the '59.
