  1. I've been tossing around the idea of building this for sometime now. I remember seeing this one (or one just like it) as a kid at Raceway Park. I'll be following this one too
  2. I was reading the General Lee thread and was impressed with the fact you built you're own valve covers. I would like to have seen how that was done. They look impressive
  3. I'm all about the Mustangs myself but like RR said its hard to comment when the pictures aren't there or of such a quality that you can't make anything out.
  4. That is a sweet build. Well done.
  5. What a great site. Thank you so much!!
  6. Very cool, nice work on the motor
  7. This is a very cool project. I really like what you've done here. I have to agree with the person who said that cup cars are all about the body finish. I wouldn't sweat the motor.
  8. Great work so far. Very impressive. I would like to see more of your Duke's Charger build. Do you have a build thread here on the forum?
  9. Time to move onto the interior. With this being an all black interior I decided to try something different. Rather then just paint everything semi-gloss black like the directions called for I gathered all my black paint (Flat, semi, and gloss) together and went to work. I painted the carpet flat black, the rear panels and metal of the doors semi-gloss. The seats and door skins were all done in gloss. My hope was that this would add some depth rather then just being a black hole. More to follow. Thanks for looking
  10. You have a lot of Cop cars in the stash. Do you know if someone make decals for different state police cars? I use to work for the NJSP and would love to build one and a few others.
  11. Stunning build. Love the color and the over all detail.
  12. They canceled the show? Well the show will live on forever in this build. Well done Mike

    57 Chevy

All the detail in the engine compartment is amazing. Well done.
  14. I love the look of these cars. You did a great job with it
  15. Nice build, I like the detail you added to the undercarriage. Bravo!
  16. Looking forward to it.
  17. Here you go. These were originally two of the original 68 KR-8 Mustangs but were later converted to look like Shelby's. Cool as hell if you ask me.
  18. I can go either way. Shiny is great but almost everyone does shiny. Personally I would like to do a Stocker. I haven't seen many of those. I have a few photos if you want...
  19. Nice, I just started to look for one of these. This was my favorite Porsche back in the 80's. I'm not sure its the right model but I wanted to do the Porsche from Risky Business. (GLUB)
  20. I'm not sure where you got that info from (If I'm wrong I apologze) but I don't believe manual consoles were that uncommon. Over the years I've seen quite a few
  21. Doesn't JB Weld heat up when mixed? I'm not sure how it would react with the plastic.
  22. That's a great solution. I need to keep that in mind
  23. Is this a kit with decals or do you have to buy the decals aftermarket? I'm currently building an original 68 CJ and would love to have this one to go with it.
  24. It might be easier to just add a console to the real car. Just kidding. I would venture to guess the easiest thing to do would be to cut it out all together and then re-add the tunnel with plastic stock. Another thing you might try is using a drummel to remove and reshape the console. I may be faced with this in an upcoming project myself. Not sure if the kit I want to use has a console or not.
