  1. This is looking good
  2. Got these yesterday at my LHS. They had just come in from someones collection. I don't know anything about them but the molds look crisp and there seems to be a good amount of detail. Accuracy? I don't know jack about armor so I can't say but they look cool. And for $8 (Half of the cost of the Dragon kits)I thought that was a good deal. I got this one off Evilbay. The box is so big I thought I screwed up and bought a larger scale kit then I was looking for but I was wrong. Can't wait to dig into this one. I'm looking for a set of the Phone Dial rims for the Porsche if anyone has any. Maybe we can work something out. Thanks for looking
  3. Supposedly the real one is on display here in Atlantic City NJ in a Planet Hollywood . Not sure how valid that is but i did read that somewhere
  4. Very very cool.
  5. Welcome to the forum, Love the shine. I can't wait tosee more of your builds/
  6. Very cool, I look forward to seeing more of it
  7. Built the wheels and mocked them up on the chassis. I'll need to sand them down a bit to get rid of the seam line and make them look like they've been driven on. I think all of the rear plumbing is completed except for the fuel tank filler. When I dry fitted the body and the rear hatch it didn't match up correctly so I removed it for now. I hope I don't lose the darn thing. I drilled out the exhaust pipes I then made the harness for the drivers seat using some tamiya tape. I don't have a clue what they looked like for this particular car and none of the kits I found on line made any seat belts so I'm free balling it. So all you rivet counters go easy. Thanks for looking.
  8. I've enjoyed watching builds like yours and MrMike's. I think I have three in the stash right now with a possibility of getting more.
  9. No I haven't had the courage to start any of the newer Mustangs I have just yet but you never know what will inspire me to start one. If I do I'm thinking it'll be the 06 Shelby GT-H
  10. I'm building three right now. 65 2+2, 68 428 Cobra jet and 86 GTO
  11. nice paint work. Looks good
  12. You can find people that own any laptop with the same complaint. The hard drive is one of the only moving part in the laptop so like with any constantly moving part there will eventually be failures. Batteries suck in almost any device you can stick one in. That's why most companies don't warranty them and if they do its minimal.
  13. Too many variables. First off what are you willing to spend? Unlimited funds? What do you want to do with it? Web browsing and basic word processing or Web development? How mobile do you want it to be? Will it just sit on your desk or will you commute with it? Sony's are small and compact so they are good for mobility along with Panasonic's tough books for durability. Those are the big questions that will help narrow down the search. With the way you asked the question you will get answers all across the board because most of us don't use our laptops the same way. I hope this helps.
  14. I don't know how "technically" literate I am but I do have my own computer repair company.
  15. Nice color scheme. I like it a lot.
  16. That's it I'm hooked. I keep hearing rumors of Revell releasing an LX notch back but I'll be damned if I can figure out when. This has got me salivating, I'm now on the hunt for the two body's so I can make my self an Special Service Package (SSP) Mustang
  17. That's one hellacious grill!!! I feel sorry for any deer or zombies that get caught in front of that thing.
  18. thanks Jason Not much to show today. Last night I gave the body a second cote of white paint ( I HATE WHITE PAINT). I spent the rest of the evening painting and assembling all kinds of bits and bobs and hoses. Lots of tedious stuff. Hopefully by the time I'm done with all that the body will be ready to be handled. I hate working with white paint!
  19. Looking good. I like watching restorations like this
  20. Side mirror in place but it didn't quite look right. There is a big hole where the mirror would be Using the Micro Krystal Klear I attempted to make a mirror. Thanks for looking
