Wow, looks like dried fruit that has been in a dehydrator too long. It might be worth making a mold of the insert, and casting them in resin if you have bunch of with these wheels. Were these stored in a hot place?

How is the cost compared to other platers?

Very realistic metal replication. One of my favorite rat rides I have seen on here.

So glad you went with that spare, looks so much better.

I am not up on what kids are available in the semi word, but that is a cool trailer.

This looks to be a great project, and you are certainly qualified to do it! I saw a popcorn wagon in Chicago last year at Lincoln Park zoo that o to pics of thinking I might do it some day, if I find the pics I will post them. I believe it is a newer body style tho.

I have not seen this kind of results with the pen yet. Are you more or less using it like a touch-n-flow, letting the ink build-up, or just drawing it on? Impressive results.

With a large Tire drawer, and not knowing which kit which tires came from, it is a pain to guess which ones will mess up over tinme, and which ones will not. I have heard about coating the rims with paint beside, but not epoxy. That may be worth just making a regular practice on projects.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the kind words. I have only weathered a few vehicles, and really this will only be my second to this extent. I have been trying to learn from those that do this well, and capture what I can. The oil leaks are inspired by what I see on the older vehicles around here. I will be using even more Mig Ammo and other similar projects on this model, and hope to do it justice.
