    Attended a benefit car show at the local AG Hall. The show was from 10 am to 3 pm and we left at 11 am, cars were still arriving, and I couldn't get pictures of all of them.

    You mentioned that you wanted to know what a black Hudson might look like. This was built a few years ago and I did use Tamiya paints, in fact the exact colors you mention. Hope this gives you an idea of what it would look like. This was sprayed straight from the cans and just the minimal polishing with Tamiya Finish wax.

    Like the 4X4 conversion with the KM2 tires. The body finish does look like it has been abused.

    Like the way the paint attracts the sun light. Just like the 1:1 Road Runner this one looks like it means business.

    Any of the Moebius kits have great carbs. Revell offered a '69 Camaro Z28 kit, the one with the blue car on the box cover and has the option of a single Holly 4bbl. or a cross ram manifold with two Holly carbs plus some of the best small block tube headers.

    Great looking Shoe Box, even if it has to many doors. Owned a few of these years ago and this brings back fond memories of when I was thin of waist and thick of hair, unlike now.

    Great drive train concept and the paint and body finish are very realistic looking for a rig that has been in service here in the mid-west. Like the light rusting of the body in all the right places. Did you use the Moebius engine?

    Thank you for looking. I cut the front spindles from the lower A Arms and added a 1/4" spacer. The rear I removed the raised mounting portion from the rear cross member for the rear coil springs and the shocks. Everything fell into place from there.

    While I painted the body and the hood at the same time I think I may have given the hood one or two less coats of paint. I'm bad about using heavier coats of color and I may have been trying not to get a run on the hood. Since you wouldn't notice on the shelf, I'm going to leave it for now. Should I every want to show it I would redo the hood and try and match the color better.

    The body trim is all done with Bare Metal foil. I have used a Gundam Marker where needed to touch up any kit chrome.

    Thankyou for looking, and you're correct about the hood. I think it may have gotten one less coat of blue since I was trying not to get a run as I was spraying a little more than I should have. Since it's more noticeable in bright lights I would repaint it if I ever put it a show.

    This is one tuff looking Deuce Coupe. I agree with you about these early AMT '32"s, they were like building with Leggo blocks. All of the parts from all of the different kits all blended together perfectly. Great paint finish and I like the stance and the Pie Crust Slicks.

    Like the clean look of the body and paint. The chrome rims with wide whites were the style of the time.

    Great color. GM offered this shade on almost everything of that era and it shows the body lines in their best light. Like to see more of your engine detailing.
