  1. Thank you for sharing your photos. One of the things I have always enjoyed with this type of show is being smaller and local you get to meet locals you might not otherwise get to talk to and a wide variety of vehicles.
  2. Beautiful clean looking truck. Looks like it's first day in service.

    Baja bug

Great looking paint treatment. I did order this same kit from Texas 3D. Thanks again for their information.
  4. Like the effect of the body paint color and finish.
  5. Great model of your friends Ford. All the finishes and the interior look just like his car and the stance looks good as well.

    ‘65 Chevy II

Like the rustic body finish. Great looking engine and stance.
  7. Great. I used that on a '48 Ford a few years ago and while not a metallic, it sure looks good.
  8. Great looking paint work and cleanly built.

    Baja bug

Thanks, I'll have to try and get one of his kits.
  10. Have to agree with everyone else on the wheels. Those will just never go out of style. You mention wanting a Maroon paint color. Tamiya offers what they call Mica Red # TS-39, while not exactly the old Honduras Maroon Metallic it's pretty close.

    Baja bug

Did the front body section with the front headlights come with your kit? I had a Baja Bug many years ago and would like to build a model of it. Mine also had this style of front end but the last time I checked no one was offereing this style and I don't want t to try and make one myself.
  12. Beautiful looking El Camino. The color looks like the optional bronze color offered at that time. These can use up a lot of chrome foil, but that was the way they were.
  13. The color really shows the body lines, and the finish looks great. Remember seeing one on the new car showroom floor in these same colors' way back when.
  14. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Like the engine detailing.
  15. Great looking color combination.
  16. I wasn't sure if you were looking for a suggestion on what to use on the gauges. You may be right about the liquid future cost since the bottle I have was purchased a long time ago and may last my lifetime since this is about the only use I have for it. Never have used it on painted bodies either.
  17. People who just through their trash on the ground even when a trash can is present. I took my wife's car to the car wash yesterday and the area they provide to shame the car afterwards has a trash can, but the ground is covered with tissues, Q-Tips and paper food wrappers laying all over the ground. Not usually like this but yesterday someone decided to dump all of the trash from the inside of their car all over the ground. They have the option of a trash can in plain sight or even vacuum cleaners that could be used. I guess the two steps from their car to the trash can was just asking too much off them.
  18. Another alternative for a gauge lens is a drop of Future floor polish. This will also work well when "gluing" headlight and taillight lenses.
  19. Big body channeling and no chopped top is sort of mainly an East Coast style, despite the Oregon plates. Whoever did the body work and paint on this did an outstanding job.
  20. Great looking paint finish and color. The interior is very well done as is the engine and chassis.
  21. Great idea blending the styling of the boat and the tow vehicle.
  22. Great looking color combination. Like the wheels and tires.
  23. Beautiful two-tone paint colors and finish. Great body trim detailing. Like the wheels and tires.
  24. Great looking color and clean body trim.
  25. Always liked this Toyota body style. Nice looking paint color and finish. Like the chassis detailing.
