  1. Cool and colorful plastic.
  2. Great looking paint work and I like the factory style. Glad you were able so restore this.
  3. Beautiful looking body work and the interior and color all flow together. Do you have two different hoods for this build?
  4. Not the usual subject which makes this all the more interesting. Great engine detailing and paint.
  5. Great looking paint work and like the sinister look.
  6. Great looking color and shows the body lines well. Like the detailed engine and undercarriage. You mentioned the tire clearance problems. Thing to remember these cars didn't have very big wheel well openings to begin with and were design around the base 6-cylinder engine with 6.50x14 tires on 5" wide wheels. Even in our scale you can see why going much bigger gets you into the body. An example, I bought a beater Chevy ll in the '70's and put the factory rally wheels and E70x14 tires from my '72 Nova SS on it. I hammered on the wheel wells front openings to clear in the front tires so that I could even turn the wheels.
  7. Great looking T Bucket. The interior looks real well done. The engine and chassis details look good. The steering wheel might get you in trouble with a little spirited driving. I had a friend long ago that did the same thing on a really cherry Oldsmobile he had. He almost wreaked it more than once.
  8. Great looking paint work and engine detailing. Like the "'70's" stance.
  9. Great looking color and paint finish. Clean assembly goes a long way on even the most basic kit.
  10. Great looking cars and trucks. Thank you for the pictures.
  11. A lot of good suggestions on creating your panel lines. I would suggest starting with a very light pass' with a #11 blade to start before going to a scribing tool. Don't try and create the line with just a couple of pass'.
  12. A consideration for a semi-flat gray color much like a primer. I used Tamiya TS-66 Lin Gray spray can on a little shoe box Ford. Don't know if this is what you have in mind, but maybe an option.
  13. Unfortunately, your experience is more common than not lately. Many of the "servers" in our area conduct themselves in much the same manor. I call them "servers" since they aren't really Waiters or Waitress'. People who are professional wait persons would realize that they hadn't done a good job in waiting your table. So many that we see lately seem to expect some big gratuity for bringing you your plate and extra if they somehow got your order correctly. Just this last weekend we went to our favorite breakfast restaurant and when the server showed up, he had a new trainee in tow. I don't have a problem with the presents of the trainee as long as the teacher is showing him the correct way to wait on a table. This teacher was trying to do everything as fast as possible with little or no attention to details. He seemed to be confusing speed with efficiency. He was halfway to the next table without asking what we wanted to drink. The trainee realized the error without any mention being made and was actually covering for the so-called trainer at the other tables as well. This isn't an expensive high-end restaurant, but a place that offers great food at a reasonable price and the wait staff are normally friendly and very attentive. My coffee cup never gets below half full and the same for my wife's iced tea. They always offer us a cup of each to go if we want and are very pleasant to deal with. The type of place we normally would leave at least a 20% tip, not this day.
  14. The livery on the trailer turned out especially good looking. The Ford pickup is very cleanly built and has the work in progress look.
  15. Great looking black paint job looks good against the red interior. Nice looking trim detailing and the engine.
  16. Great looking paint finish and interior.
  17. Beautiful looking BRG finish and interior.
  18. I used to buy Krylon paints as well, and still due. Many of my early cars were done just like this model, and I actually like the look still.
  19. Sounds like you would like to get your hands on this little jewel. That being the case I would follow up on this and just see what it is and what they want for it. Think of the old saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
  20. Beautiful looking paint finish and color. Very cleanly detailed body and interior.
  21. Great looking paint treatment, especially with the matching '67 Chevelle. Like the engine upgrade.
  22. The body looks far better than expected from when you started this build. Great looking paint and the engine looks at home here.
  23. Great looking build. The paint work looks great as does the engine details.
  24. Great looking paint and an unusual body style. The interior and engine look good.
  25. Like the Flat Black finish, and the Keystone Wheels from the old days look great.
