  1. We went to see the new Indians Jones movie. Everything I have read in the news sort of pans this movie, but I don't understand why. I think it may have to do with those that remember the previous movies and enjoyed them. There is the expected formula of the good and the bad, the chases are as good as ever. The special effects are on a par with anything from past movies. The effects on ageing are something you don't notice at first in the time of the end of WWII, and it isn't until the story line reaches the movie timeline of 1969 that you realize what had been done on the Harrison Ford, Indian Jones, as far as special effects in his appearance on screen. The main bad guy doesn't age from the WWII timeline to the 1969 timeline, but other than that the acting seems well done. My opinion is that many of the younger audience today may have not seen the earlier films in the theaters or may have not even been born yet when this all started. Interests change with time and some of the subjects of WWII as well as 1969 would be harder to relate too than someone who had been around in 1969 and are more aware of WWII and what all was happening in 1969.
  2. Great looking paint and smooth body work. These kits originally had some extensive body addons and this looks like the original builder used them all. You got a great buy on this and glad you were able to save it.
  3. Great look and lowered stance. The dash looks well detailed. Like the body mods and the paint color.
  4. Great looking build despite all of the issues you mentioned. Like the way you can display it with either the soft top or open.
  5. Great looking paint color and black trim. You mention the rear deck spoiler not being correct. The spoiler resembles a Camero spoiler and only my opinion, this style looks better than what MoPar went with at the time. Very cleanly built.
  6. Beautiful looking paint color and finish. The body trim is all very cleanly done as is the interior. The engine compartment looks very realistic. Always enjoy your shoreline background pictures.
  7. As you described, this has the early build style, that just doesn't go out of style. Dodge offered a shade of blue like this in the early '50's that was popular on many custom street cars of the day. The Olds gill and the "ripple bumpers" were often seen as well. Anyone owning a '55 Olds had to buy hub caps often. Great ventage look and finishes.
  8. I had an Ex Brother in law years ago who had a pumping business. He had "Honey Dipper" painted on the side of the tank on his truck. I guess such a job is a little more enjoyable if you have a sense of humor.
  9. Sometimes the best pictures are taken by proud Puppy parents.
  10. Like the smooth sparkly paint finish. The stance along with the wheels and tires look like it means business.
  11. Iconic color combination. Like the clean look and the added engine and decal details.
  12. Great job restoring this. The paint is nice and smooth, and the color shows the body lines well. Like the "Day 2" style.

    '82 Corvette

The color looks great on this Corvette. Like the wheels and the clean look.
  14. Great looking engine and chassis detailing, and colorful also.
  15. Always enjoy the way you distress the finishes on these trucks. The rust spots on the lower body cab especially along with other areas are done just like the older beat up 1:1 trucks in the mid-west and else wear.
  16. I also like how you combined the three body styles. Even 1:1 Corvettes are being converted to appear as an earlier model and people are paying big dollars for them.
  17. Lost interest when Rowdy stuffed his car into the tire barrier. He approached the corner like his throttle was stuck wide open. Saw the rain tires they were using on one screen shot, they didn't look like they would work, and they didn't. With the condition of the streets even in the dry this would have been a dicey deal, add rain and you saw what you would get. Maybe they'll
  18. Beautiful looking '40. Nice top and like the paint.

    '85 Camaro Z28

Great looking build. Like the colors and the clean detailing.
  21. Beautiful looking finishes.
  22. Everything I said about your Duster and more. Both of these are beautiful looking builds.
  23. Great looking paint color and finish. I like the open wheels look. Very realistic looking engine details.
  24. Maybe a smaller diameter tire if you have one that matches the sidewall and tread design.
  25. I need the phone number of your muffler shop. Like the exhaust.
