    59 caddy

That is realy clean. The windshield almost looks like its "chopped". Outstanding detail on the engine and interior.
  2. I like how you kept the '53s side trim. Good idea on the suspension. Since your useing the Mustang suspension, and it is a unibody car anyway, It will look like you dropped the '53 body on top of a Mustang. Which is what you have done anyway. Please post updates.
  3. Looks great. I wondered what you would do with the passanger side slideing door. That would make a great "TAIL GATE" party van for a Football game.
  4. This is truely amazing. This man has "SKILLS".
  5. Please post updates. This looks like fun.
  6. These base models of high end manufactures like Oldmobile, Pontiac and others make great street rods. Can you share the supplier of this body? I would like to see what other models they may offer. Do you supply the interior and chassis?
  7. Looking good. These cars were realy fast.
  8. Realy outstanding colors on both cars. Wheels can be very personal, and change the look of a car from one style to another. Maybe some of the late model Camaro type wheels or some wires. All depends on the "look" you're going for. I realy like that Olds.
  9. Some one over on the Diorama section has a garage scene where he has a functioning lift and rollup garage doors. Might give you some ideas.
  10. I've never tried to clear over Chrome Foil. It just seems to work fine without.
  11. Was it a very humid day? That has been a problem for me in the past.
  12. Good looking trailer. Keep the updates coming
  13. Good fabricating on your conversion. Hope you can get it cast.
  14. Outstanding conversion. If you can get Scale Motorsport upholstery decales in Oz, that may help with your seats. Please keep us updated on this model.
  15. These are fun models. Whatching for more pictures.
  16. Looks real good. Look forward to more pictures.
  17. This looks like it will be interesting. Please keep the pictures coming.
  18. Michael, I have used Prisamcolor metallic silver for chrome . Their metallic gold works well for a brass fitting or anything else you need in that color range. Another product I found that works well is DecoColor paint marker. I got their extra fine Liquid Gold and White. These work well for triming tires also. In the old days before Chrome Foil was invented, we used Testors Chrome in the small 1/4 oz. size to paint trim. Tamiya X-11 Chrome Silver also can be used if you can find it. Hope this helps.
  19. Speaking of Califonia, and meaning no disrespect to forum members presently there. I was a 30 year+ resident of " The Golden State". I well remember " Gov. Moonbeam " In time he turned out to not have been so bad. The saying at the time of my departure in 1996 was " Last tax payer out turn off the lights "
  20. Welcome Rob. If you have not already bought the 69 Camaro convertable yet, consider the Revell Z28 coupe. It has both grills, standard and RS. You can remove the top to make the convertable. I personaly like this model better than the AMT issue. Both are good models, but you may be able to save a little. The convertable boot ia avalible from several resin casters. Please post some pictures when you get going on this, I realy like these cars.
  21. Rob, Thats some good looking goodies. Thanks for the info.
  22. I'm guilty of useing this turm often in my posts. I use this term as a copliment too the builder's model. I think Richard Manson first said it best and Raoul's pictures illistrated what I think "clean" is. It would seem that many of us agree on this.
  23. Like it alot. If it were real it would scare all the woman and children. Looken good.
  24. Looks real good, very clean . You realy nailed the look of the Baldwin Moton super cars.
