  1. Not that I've seen. I do have one if someone need it for a master...
  2. I'll be getting a few!
  3. Yes, you have to start over. Brake fluid will also work. Never say never to the Krylon; if you used a Krylon primer and a Krylon base coat, you will not have this same problem. This is not an inherent problem with the clear coat itself: it is the reaction between the two different brands and types of paint.
  4. I have a Johan USA Series 1969 AMC AMX that is molded in green. The double-pack Revell 1956 Ford F-100 and 77 Chevy C-10 has a green C-10.
  5. So Grzegorz , I have to ask: do you by any chance happen to work in a mine? This is awesome!
  6. Both the Charger 500 and a 70 Charger would be most welcome. But, the Charger 500 would require a new body tooling which they probably won't do.
  7. That looks like the weird camper thing in one of the MPC Dodge pickups!
  8. I'm not so much concerned about making the plates; that's easy enough to do. My complaint was more towards the sites not being updated...
  9. That is what I've been doing, although it is hard to find the font my province uses on the plates. I've been using the German EU plate font, looks pretty good. I even successfully predicted the next letter in the passenger car sequence a year before they switched over.
  10. You know what, I think the 1:35 scale one is the one my buddy has... I know it is frickin' huge!
  11. The biggest problem I have with all these custom license plate sites is that they don't have my province's current plate design. C'mon, it changed five years ago!
  12. A guy in my club has one of these and we keep bugging him to build it. We've even offered to each build parts of it to get it built! We've suggested a diorama with the assembled Dora and support crew.
  13. I really wish they'd bring out a new notchback body. I much prefer all notchback Mustangs to the fastbacks.
  14. I liked that one much better than the Rob Zombie bumpside they did...
  15. The GMC hood is also different. Markedly so on the 60-61 while the 62-66 hood is similar to the Chevrolet version. Check out this link: http://6066gmcguy.com/Hood.html
  16. Thanks, Antonio! My friend was wondering if these are worth getting refinished or not. Personally, I think they're ugly.
  17. A friend of mine is trying to ID a set of wheels on a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder. Not sure of the make, but here they are: They look tres 80s, no?
  18. The pickup was recently reissued with a custom building options, one if which is a second set of wheels. So you can still build the truck out of the box and use the artillery style wheels on another project.
  19. Round 2 is a company that started out leasing the AMT molds (including Ertl and MPC) from Learning Curve/RC2. At the end of the licensing agreement, Round 2 opted to purchase the molds from RC2. Since then, Round 2 has added Polar Lights as well as Lindberg and Hawk. They own all the tooling for those companies and are reissuing whatever is complete, it seems. Some tools are fixed up if they need to be, with some parts being restored or added from previous versions. Some of the kits haven't been issued in decades, some have. Not entirely sure how they are picking what to produce.
  20. I think Tonka put out a plastic 68 Ranchero that is roughly 1:25 scale or so. No idea how difficult it would be to turn into a full detail model, though.
  21. This right here illustrates the huge height difference between the GMT400s and the GMT800s. I was in traffic with my dad's 93 K1500 plow truck with the Christmas tree on and was sitting next to a GMT800; the plow lights were at the same height as the headlights!
  22. I had a little set back with the Willys. While doing final clean up last night in preparation for a seal coat of silver, I noticed there was a chunk out of the driver's side blister on the nose piece. I tried to fill it in and sand it but it just got worse. I stripped the paint from the nose piece on my old built up I had and will be using that nose instead. The paint was on it so thick that I didn't notice that it has the bumps in the grille area, which I think makes that one of the original issues...? I think it is molded in a pale blue; after decades of black paint and the stripping process it is hard to tell what colour the original plastic is. Also quite visible is the line in the hood from the filler panel, sigh. Looks like I have some more filling to do...
  23. After another round of filler and some Tamiya liquid surface primer the roof is about as done as I can get. Some lines are still visible but I can't really figure out how to smooth them out more than what I've done. I'll see how it looks with a shot of silver and go from there. Panel lines are all scribed. Also started painting the engine gold; here is a mock up with the new blower setup.
  24. That being said, all the auto transporters that I have seen in person have a vehicle or two on the roof of the tractor. The tractors, however, could best be described as "lowriders"; they definitely do not sit at the usual height for road tractors.
