  1. A 6 lug and an 8 lug version would be great!
  2. Charlie, depends how far back.
  3. One swap I always wanted to try was to take an 83-92 Ranger, swap the front clip and radiator support to the 89-92 style if 83-88, and put in a grille and headlights from a Mazda Navajo. Grab the steering wheel too, and with your engine swap you'll have a phantom B5000!
  4. Another one from SaintJohn, NB.
  5. Thanks, Luc! I suspected as such, but have never actually seen a Warlock in the plastic, as it were.
  6. Last month I managed to snag built up versions of the 1975 issue and the Off-Road Camper issue, and noticed that there are actually three different trims represented in these kits and two different tail gates. I have edited the original posts to reflect this. Also, can anyone with a Warlock confirm/deny any side trim?
  7. The problem with using vinegar is that it will actually erode concrete. When I worked in a materials testing lab we used vinegar to clean the concrete testing equipment. Put a slump cone in a bucket of vinegar for a few days and it looks brand new!
  8. Any replacement wheels you find are going to be based on the promo wheels. They're pretty good.
  9. It dries up pretty stiff. My mom uses it for raised domes on crafts and stuff. Pretty high surface tension if you are careful with it and sets up pretty hard.
  10. My mom is in to Stampin' Up in a big way and part of her arsenal of craftiness is this stuff called Crystal Effects. I snagged a mostly-used up bottle from her and use it to make lenses on grilles that have molded in headlights. It is really thick so it doesn't flow far (if at all). The bottle isn't very helpful, just says "Clear Craft Lacquer" and "Acid free, Nontoxic, Washable". As for the stuff actually is...
  11. The "snap" kit is the dually promo, which first came out in 1990 I believe and ran through to 1998. I have a 1994 and a 1998 promo. The snap kit release has the 95-96 style dash.
  12. The Fotki album is from our club photographer, but here is the club's website gallery breakdown. I think we had a secondary photographer this year and his stuff would be on the main website. http://capitalareamodellers.ca/galleries/CAMS2014/index.html
  13. There is also a 2010 Mustang GT hard top full glue kit and a 2010 Mustang GT convertible snap kit. Should be readily available online.
  14. Here is a link to our official Fotki album. http://public.fotki.com/ScottM/hobby-shows/cams-show-2014/
  15. Wow, finally someone that might have as many of the MPC squarebody kits as I do! I have about four of them on the go right now. Don't even get me started on all the other WIPs I have piled up...
  16. It was a long seven months, but I received a parcel today: My original Odyssey, plus the first three shots out of the mold. He doesn't have it listed on his website yet but it will probably sell for between $25-40.
  17. So it seems the issue is with the cab rather than the beds. I like the older cabs due to the trim on them; I'll look into either sectioning the cabs or maybe even widening the beds. Of course, this ends up being a moot point with the steps ide bed.
  18. I think the term they are looking for is non volatile .
  19. They claim you can pour this stuff over a burning match and it will not ignite. Liquid gasoline does the same thing; it is the vapour that is flammable.
  20. Hi Bob, how do you find the alignment between the cab and the bed? Being the last evolution of this tooling, I'd bet it fits pretty good. I recently picked up a couple built kits: a 1975 and a 1977. The '75s cab seems to be wider but the '77s cab seems to fit the bed better; both beds are the same width, just different trim. I believe the monster truck cab and bed have no side trim at all...?
  21. I find myself wondering what other 80s TV shows have been revisited in a commercial and what will be the next one. I know of the MacGuyver MasterCard commercial; are there any others?
  22. The 1984 GMC kit is the final evolution of the original tooling from 1977.
  23. Kit was released in 1977; the truck depicted could be a 77 or 78. The Revell kits either have a small sunroof hole or a slightly bigger hole for a hood blister with clearance lights and mounting bosses for air horns. The MPC kits have cut guide lines but a solid roof.
  24. I don't suppose you remember which paints and what ratios?
