  1. I picked up this 48 year old kit partially built and only missing a couple of parts . After scrounging the missing pieces I cleaned everything as best I could then polished all of the red plastic parts . I assembled it using only the kit parts with no extra or aftermarket parts being used . I did make the header flanges since I thought they looked a little funny without them and I added a Ford script decal to the radiator shell . This is a really nice kit and I'm already collecting parts to build another version !

Good looking Nomad Jim ! I wouldn't worry about the bumpers , if you do a web search for this kit none of them look right . !

  5. Possibly the nicest '64 I've seen . . . very nice !
  6. You use a lot of metalizers on you builds and I was wondering if you airbrush them or just use a paint brush ? I've tried using a brush without much luck , it usually takes 2 or 3 coats and is never very smooth .
  7. Great looking paint and detailing ! Looks like you molded the roof into the body , that really makes a big difference . The engine detailing and drilling out the headers also add to the overall look . Very Nice work !
  8. Very nice , your version definitely looks much better !

  10. Your pictures of those old Strombecker slot cars brings back a lot of memories . . . looks like you've got alot of work ahead of you ! That tool is for pulling the pinion gears off of the motors .
  11. Great idea John , and you're off to a good start ! I don't think I've ever seen a Buck Baker '58 Chevy before . And don't think nobody is interested . Things are pretty slow around here and a lot of people just stop by to look and don't reply very often ( I'm guilty ! ) .
  12. Very cool Salt Flats racer ! Beautiful paint and detailing . . . great job !
  13. Great colors ! Very nicely done .
