  1. Welcome to the forum Bob ! Quite a few of us from the area on this forum . If you have any questions feel free to ask , someone here can always come up with an answer !
  2. Wow , that's some excellent work ! You've really paid attention to all the little details and it really makes a difference . The only thing that ruined it for me is that nice shiny plastic tire under the nose .
  3. Beautifully done ! All the details are fantastic !
  4. It almost look too easy . . . thanks for the tip !
  5. It must be my old eyeballs but I can't read a thing on that tutorial , but it looks great in the pictures !
  6. Absolutely ! I always polish mine before cutting it from the sheet , really shines up nice . Even with a new sheet a little polishing makes a big difference ! I use Semi - Chrome but any metal / aluminum polish should work fine .
  7. It looks really good but it has a couple of issues : First the rear of the roof is too tall , and if you look at the windshield you can see the roof is crooked . Not exactly what you'd expect from a quality resin caster . There's probably more that are not noticeable in photos . I'll pass .
  8. Interesting . . . you say it's Revell , what scale ?
  9. Looks like he needs to get a little sun ! Great paint work !
  10. Beautiful blue paint ! Nice to see a Cameo in different colors . . . I like it !
  11. Verrrry interesting . . . that would be a nice addition to my long roof collection !
  12. She's a real beauty Rich , looks like you've got the foiling figured out ! You're gonna have to get more storage space for all these builds you're knocking out !
  13. Looks excellent Bobby ! Those are some of the nicest wire wheels I've seen , do you remember the source ?
  14. I like it !!
  15. I like it very much Nick ! The paint looks okay to me and I love that color . Your friend should be pleased with it . . . and tell him his original looks awesome !
  16. I'm one of the "lucky " ones who had this problem earlier this year . The only way I could post or reply was to use the "More Reply Options" button . It worked every time and was more of an inconvenience than anything else , and the problem went away after a while ( maybe an update ? ) . If the compatibility trick doesn't work for you I'd give it a try . Good Luck !
  17. Very nice ! One of my all time favorite "cars" .
  18. I like your style !! Looks like some of the cars I used to drive !
  19. I second that ! Great collection of small scale Cheetahs ! I especially like the Cro - Sal Cheetah !
  20. I was having the same problems posting and using the Quote button for replies , I'm running Windows 7 and IE . I have automatic updates and it turns out that IE had updated and was causing all of the problems and by uninstalling the update everything started working again . Go to the Control Panel and check your updates and then turn off "Automatic updates" . Photobucket also is not compatible with the latest version of IE so uninstalling the update should fix that problem too . If not , make sure you have the latest version of Java installed . Go to the Java website for the free download and to make sure that Java scripting is "enabled" on your computer . You can't copy links in PB if it's not "enabled" !!
  21. That's pretty cool , nice job !
  22. I've been using Joseph's method with excellent results on both kit tires and painted resin tires . I always use Future before and Dullcote after . . . I like the satin look better than a glossy looking tire .
  23. Two thumbs up !! Another wild and crazy build . Great job Ira !
  24. That's pretty sharp Chris ! It's a cool kit to begin with and your changes really make it stand out , great work !
