  1. Sorry , I guess I never said . This is it . Edit - Ignore the " Skill Level 2 " . In my opinion it's a " 1 " !
  2. I decide the roof should have the side to side grooves in it like the original Nomads . I removed that section of the roof , sanded it smooth , and used a small round file to put the grooves in it . In less than two hours the piece was re - glued in place and it looked pretty decent . It's hard to see them in the photos .
  3. Looks awesome Tye ! Love those decals !
  4. Very nicely done Nick ! It looks sharp in that color . Have a great new year !
  5. Never get tired of seeing this magnificent work of art ! Did you ever meet up with Mr. Clayton and get some pics of him with your model ? I don't recall seeing any .
  6. Okay , the first thing I did was give the longroof a chop and move the entire roof forward about 1/4 inch . This allowed the tailgate to be repositioned so it was angled forward like an original Nomad . The first photo shows the stock roof line . I plan on doing a bit more this evening and will post the results tomorrow . Happy New Year !
  7. I've had this kit for a while and since it is being reissued I thought I'd take a shot at building it . It's a very basic kit and should be a Skill Level 1 . Very low parts count and most details are molded in . After looking at the body and photos of the real car I realized it was kind of ugly and needed some help ! So out came the razor saw and the fun began . Since I can only post photos as a reply they will be here soon .
  8. Great looking custom ! !
  9. Wow , that's purty !!! Beautiful Vette .
  10. Great looking stuff ! Really like the " T " !
  11. That is really cool !! Lots of detailing everywhere especially underneath . And it looks great all opened up ! Nice job .
  12. She's a beauty ! Unusual color tho' . . . too light to be Med Ivy Green .
  13. Found these pics online , it is definetly a Strombecker . Thanks for your input .
  14. I was thinking Strombecker but couldn't find any photos of a similar chassis . Go ahead and use my photos if you know some one who can help . Thanks .
  15. Those are beautiful ! I'm a pushover for early Fords so I really like the first two . Great stuff !
  16. I wouldn't have known you were new to the hobby if you hadn't told us ! Excellent work and good luck in 2013 !
  17. Really beautiful stuff ! How did I not see these before ?
  18. I guess my question wasn't very clear . I know it's a Cheetah . I also know that it is not a Cox Cheetah . I'm trying to I.D. the manufacturer .
  19. Excellent builds ! And congratulations on the new addition to your family !
  20. Very beautiful builds ! You do very nice work , congrats on a great year !
  21. A good friend got this slot car in a lot off of ebay . We've been trying to I.D. it with no luck . I thought the body might be a Stromberg but the chassis looks newer . Any ideas ?
  22. Really sharp looking GSX ! The detailing of the front and rear and the engine is great . We all see things in our own photos . . . I personally use them during a build to find things that I missed !
  23. I guess I vote " No " , but not because I'm too busy . . I'd just rather look at nice clear photos and see the work that was done . If there is a link to a " How To " I'll take a quick look to see if I'm interested .
  24. I really like the new look ! The blue and black with the redlines is a perfect combination for this year Camaro . Nice job .
  25. Very nicely done Sean . It looks good in that color and the redline tires on Rallye wheels are perfect ! Congrats on a nice save after your accident , we've all been there .
