  1. Holy Cat ! ! David , that is incredible ! One of the most realistic looking models I've seen , of any kind . Lots of models have tons of details and look like their full size counterparts but there is always something that says " model " . Your Cat nails it completely ! Congratulations !
  2. I also built this is a kid ( about 12 or 13 I think ) and don't remember the Cobra chassis , how about a photos of it before you start ?
  3. Thanks for the pic Chuck ! I just saw this in your other post and agree it looks really nice ! I'm ordering two of them today . Edit - He is out of stock on these right now .
  4. That 9" Ford rear looks pretty nice ! Never heard of Futurattraction before but I'm gong to check them out .
  5. Looks really good with the upgraded carbs and filters ! I'll have to order a couple sets . My Dad and I built one in '69 and it didn't have seat belts ! ! I remember holding on really tight !
  6. I was in Walmart today and picked up this new paint from Krylon . The cap looks pretty dark but I did a spoon test and it looks great ! This was over white primer and it is a bit flat so a clear would be needed . Green Fluorescent # 3106 .
  7. That is a gorgeous 5 Window !!! Great example of what this car should look like , the color and details really set it apart from all the rest . The steering wheel is one thing I noticed . . . very cool .
  8. Great looking Plymouth ! Great looking paint and overall a very clean build . I like the wide whites . My Dad had them on his "new" '60 Dodge convertible and when he bought a new '64 the first thing he did was go to Sears and by a set of WWW tires for it !
  9. No problem Gerald , the top of the headlights are hidden by the hood .
  10. Really , really nice looking salt racer ! The paint is beautiful and the salt spray is perfect ! Great job ! Is there actually a windshield frame there or is it painted on ?
  11. Really sharp looking ! Very clean and well detailed .
  12. Very cool ! Love the paint and the roof rack and the wheels and . . .
  13. Darrell , I've ordered a few sets and I love them ! Much better than water slide decals ! I also use the tip of an xacto knife and they go on fairly easy . Next time I'll try James' idea too .
  14. A few years ago when I wasn't building models I decided to go thru my stash and kind of organize things . Among the half finished models was a 1/16 Street Charger chassis . . . fully detailed , painted , wired, fuel lines , brake lines , the works ! I carefully packed it in the original box with plenty of TP for protection and put it back in my stash . The body and the rest of the parts went in another box and was also put away . Fast forward to last year when I decided to start building models again . While going thru my stash I come across the Street Charger box and when I open it what do I find ? The body and all the parts ! The chassis wasn't there and wasn't any where to be found ! To this day I don't know what happened to the chassis , but back in those days I did enjoy my Jim Beam on a daily basis , so I'm guessing that it went out with the trash .
  15. I like your idea Gerald , I'm going to think about it . Are the new Challenger headlights different ? Thanks Jeremy ! The chop is the one thing this body really needed , and it was easy to do !
  16. Thanks Tom !

    What if...?

The Riviera wagon looks pretty good , I just might build one !
  18. Very , very nice ! One of the best builds of the Revell kit I've seen . Great detailing of the interior and engine .
  19. Since most of the body work is finished I wanted to see what it would look like with wheels and tires . I'm still not satisfied with the front end but it looks better than it did . I'm about out of ideas so it will probably stay this way . Any ideas are welcome !
  20. It's turning out very cool ! The shortened chassis with the tall windshield helps the look a lot , and the new brake master cylinder looks good . You've done a lot of surgery to get the body the way it is and it looks great ! Keep posting !
  21. Harry's right . . . some people don't pay attention . I may not agree where certain models are posted but I live with it . No more changes !
  22. I saw this tip on another site . It's Model Master Acryl Dried Paint Solvent made for removing the really " Hot " paint from R/C Lexan bodies . It suppossedly wil soften dried glue in a few minutes , however it will destroy the plastic if left on too long so use it sparingly ! I found some at Tower Hobbies for less than $6 bucks but haven't recieved it yet .
  23. Another beauty Chuck !
  24. Another Beauty ! You do excellent work , congrats .
  25. Great looking build Ron ! Super clean and excellent detailing .
