Nooooo ! I've owned two 60's over the years and I've always wanted to build a model of one of them , so this is kind of special to me . I will definetly finish it in maybe a month or so .
I like it too , looks great so far ! I've always liked this body style Charger more than the later bodies .
Are those the kits wheels ? They look like Cragar S/S's .
In early 1972 I was a junior in high school when I bought my first car , a 1969 Torino Cobra Jet . I drove it for 3 months before my Dad made me sell it !
Here's the real deal !
I thought I'd share a few pics of what's on my bench right now . It's still a bit rough but I mocked it up to get a feel for what it will look like . Hope you like it !
Are you kidding Me ! ? ! ? That's incredible ! ! I really love the trucks that you've built but this really blows me away . Can you give a little more info about it ? How big is it , how many bricks , etc . . .
Terry , That is really nice ! I went thru your photos on Fotki to get some idea how you built it and I'd like to try something similar myself . Only problem would be finding someplace that would plane my wood to the proper sizes .
About how long did it take you to build this ? And is it finished / sealed with anything ?
I'm always amazed when I see one of these small scale builds , they are always so nicely detailed .
This is no exception , you've done a great job with a very basic kit .
I really like it !
Around that time automobiles were still a luxury item and not a necessity . Not a lot of people could afford them . In 1936 we were still recovering from the depression .
