  1. A hot rodded four banger ! That's great , excellent looking build !
  2. Lookin' good Bill ! Nice job on a very cool kit , Polar Lights did pretty good with these kits . And congrats on the pictures ! Doesn't it feel good when something works for a change ?
  3. It looks fast ! Love the look with the wheels and the stance , nice job .
  4. Beautiful van ! It looks so nice I never would have known it was a JF body if you didn't say so .
  5. Beautifully done ! You captured the look perfectly .
  6. It's the same here in Florida . The tag at the store said the same thing the ad said : in big red letters " BUY ONE GET ONE " and then off to the side is " 50% off 2nd can " Kind of a sneaky way to get you into the store .
  7. I'm not positive about this but if you are attaching files directly to your post they will always show up as a thumbnail photo , regardless of whether they are 400 x 400 or 1400 x 1400 dpi . You need to use a photo sharing site to post full size photos .

I have to agree with every thing that's been said !
  9. I decided it was time to start working on the engine so I found a nice small block in the Revell '64 Pickup kit . It looks just like the 283 I had in my El Camino , with stamped valve covers , a 4 bbl intake and a 4 speed trans . I'm making my own headers out of .062 solder , which scales to 1 5/8 diameter . If you ever buy headers made for a '60 Chevy , they are made to really hug the engine and then they dump to the outside of the X - frame where they hook up to the stock exhaust . It took two trys but I finally have a set that I think will be okay once they are cleaned up and painted . I have flanges made but they aren't installed right now . The orange paint was done quick just to take some pictures .
  10. Great looking build as usual ! Beautiful ( and fancy ) paint job and I really like the interior !
  11. Before you throw that old printer in the trash you might want to look inside . Both these belts came out of my old Lexmark , more than enough for a couple dozen blower drives ! Click on the photo for a closer look !
  12. That is soooo nice ! The trailer came out great and the details are excellent ! I really like the hitch assembly .
  13. In case you haven't heard , it was announced today that the #43 will be all Petty Blue for 24 races this season !
  14. That's probably what happened . If you've been using it for a few days it has evaporated . I lived in Phoenix for awhile and it can happen !
  15. Harry , Dennis has more of these builds posted in the Trucks section . Check 'em out !
  16. You've been SLIMED ! ! Seriously , I've never seen it before . Must be some kind of chemical reaction , maybe the paint ?
  17. Great looking model of one of the best looking Rivieras ever !
  18. The engine looks great , glad you added the brackets to keep everybody happy ! I love Edsels too so I'll be following along . Why wait 'till summer to visit Florida ? The weather's great right now !
  19. I always liked that Sandbagger artwork ! Here's one I'd never seen before 'till a few days ago . . .
  20. Great , I'm glad you're back on this build ! I like what you've done to the shape of the body and the new paint job , and the engine and wheels are icing on the cake !
  21. I passed you by yesterday because of the thumbnails , sorry . I'm glad I came back to take a look at it , it's very very nice ! I really like the paint and your engine details are great ! It looks a heck of a lot better than Stacey David's .
