  1. I like what you are doing here Shawn , looks really cool ! Idea - If you prime the body with white on top and black on the bottom you can do a two tone paint job in one shot !
  2. I saw that in the mail but didn't even open it . . . better go check the trash !
  3. Great job ! All those decals and the details look great , and the engine is where it belongs !
  4. That's Awesome ! ! I never gave that kit much thought . . . until now ! Why is this your last attempt ?
  5. Thanks James . They look good as long as you don't get too close ! People want crazy prices for those SMP El Caminos . I kept looking for a long time , but they were either real glue and paint bombs or they were priced twice what a resin body goes for ! I have a Bandit Resins '60 and it is really a nice piece with an open hood and F and R bumpers , it just wasn't what I wanted to build .
  6. I managed to get the chassis painted over the weekend . I'm thinking about adding a little weathering and dirt to it . What do you think ?
  7. The RS / SS is a real beauty ! Love the wheels and tires , and Butternut yellow is the perfect color .
  8. It looks really nice ! Great detailing in the interior . How did you paint the trim around the windows so nice ?
  9. Don't know what it is but I like it !
  10. Really nice paint and trim work . The little details really make this one great ! I like it alot !
  11. Looks really good to me too ! I like the gold wheels . Polar Lights has had problems with decals in the past , you are not alone !
  12. That looks great ! You did a great job , it's so clean and nicely detailed . I've done a couple like this and they are lots of fun !
  13. Beautiful build ! That was a ton of work , I know , I have one too ! You did one heck of a job !
  14. That's mighty Nice ! ! Never seen that kit before .
  15. and the Third for a diorama of Freddy flame out kit I was thinking of using one of these for a dio also ! How about a peek inside , maybe with a ruler ?
  16. That's very cool ! I like the open body idea . . . it looks like it really belongs on a beach somewhere !
  17. It looks just fine . . . so does the BMF ! I remember my aunt driving an old Plymouth like this one in the late 50's .

  19. Beautiful ! You've done an excellent job on this build . Where did you get the stripe decals ?
  20. That's very Cool ! ! I like the way you did the speed holes and the paint . I'll make a note of that . Looking forward to more photos !
  21. Really good looking Monte carlo ! Nice job replicating the real car .
  22. If you still have it I'd like to "borrow" the parts to cast them . Please send me a PM ! Edit - I'll rent them or trade parts for the time and pay shipping !
  23. Just curious , what parts do you need ?
  24. Thanks Dave , so do I ! I've about finished the mods on the chassis and made up a new fuel tank using the one I cut from the AMT kit . Everything seems to fit okay , I'll add some tank straps after paint . I also narrowed the track simply by opening up the backing plates and sliding them in on the axle ( I'll cut the ends off later ) . This narrowed it by 3/16" total !
