  1. I wondered about the doors too . The '66 looks much better as a dirt car than the '69 did . It should look great when you're done !
  2. You corrected the camber problem exactly the way it should have been done ! Simple and effective . Good job !
  3. Thanks Jim , Mark , Pauli , and Austin . Austin , Actually the kit costs $55 and I paid less than $5 for the yellow paint . Everything else was just normal supplies I already had , and the engine was in my parts box . I've spent more than that building a styrene kit before ! The best part is the Ranchero body looked as nice as a styrene body , not like a lot of resin bodies available for a lower price that require tons of work before you can even spray some primer !
  4. Wow ! That's pretty ! Very nice looking Caddy .
  5. I followed your build and I'm impressed with the amount of effort and research that you puy in to it ! I plan on using yours as a guide to build my own . Very nice model !
  6. Rods are good . They know what they like ! Good Job !
  7. Good luck with that ! I've used several MADD distributors and really like them , but have never been able to get the insulation over the plug wires ! Maybe it's me .
  8. Really nice looking builds ! I like the slant six too , don't see enough of them being built .
  9. " Box Stock " builds are very popular around here , so build it and they will come out of the woodwork to admire your work ! Welcome back !

Beautiful work ! I love the Fins !
  11. It's definetly worth the price ! I have a couple of resin bodies from other manufacturers and never attempted building them because of the extra work involved . I guess you really do get what you pay for ! And thanks again to everyone for your comments ! BOB.
  12. That looks really well done ! Those ralley cars are pretty cool . I just saw a 1/12 version of this car on ebay if you are interested .
  13. You think it turned out akay ? It turned out great ! Super nice rebuild and a really nice color too .
  14. Looks great ! Nice looking collection you have there .
  15. Nice looking T-Bolt Jake ! You did a really great job on this build , even the color looks good on it . I like your decals and plates !
  16. Wow ! Those are some beautiful race cars , and you really race them ? I'd be afraid of damaging them , they deserve to be displayed with all the other great models on this forum ! Awesome work Art !
  17. Thank you everyone ! I really appreciate the comments . BOB .
  18. It looks good , and the lights in the front are cool . I don't really remember the show , sorry .
  19. Very nice looking 3 window Hal . You did a great job !
  20. Hi everyone . Exactly three months after I started it , my Ranchero is finished ! Pictures are posted in " Under Glass " .
  21. This was my first resin kit and it wasn't as different as I thought it would be . It's from Motor City Resins and is a nice kit . The yellow is Krylon Bright Idea and the stripe is Tamiya TS - 31 Bright Orange . I modified the chassis from the Monogram '70 Torino GT and the engine is the 351C from the Revell Mach I kit with home made valve covers . The only real problem I had was with the windshield . I pre - fit everything and it was just fine . Then during the final assembly it wasn't even close to fitting ! After several attempts I was just making things worse so it got glued in like it was . Thanks for looking !
  22. If a 1/24 scale car is 7.5 inched long , minus the 3.41% you say is the difference , gives us 7.24 inches in 1/25 scale . That's 1/4 of an inch difference .
  23. One more time with two " stock " bodies . On the left is a 1/25 scale MPC 'cuda , on the right is Revell's 1/24th scale "cuda . Quite a difference !
