  1. Tony , One of the nicest Chevelles posted here in a long time ! Beautiful paint and trim work . Just a suggestion , If you open a Photobucket account ( free ) and post larger pictures , you will get a lot more replies !
  2. This is an excellent idea for a new section . Keeping it voluntary and with a set list of questions is a must . Along with the obvious modeling questions , a short biography would be interesting too . Although since most members won't even post their age it may not be answered much .
  3. This is very cool ! I really like where you are headed with this .
  4. Looks great ! I really like your headers .
  5. Micro Mark makes a similar glue called Detail Tack . It dries fast and stays tacky for months ! I use it for mock - ups and also a dab on the tip of a toothpick works great for handling small parts like photo - etched pieces . I have a bottle that is over a year old and have never had any problems with it drying up !
  6. Whatever you want to call it , it looks very nicely done to me ! Congrats on a great build .
  7. That looks pretty cool ! I like what you've done for the exhaust . What kit is that ? It kinda looks like an old MPC Challenger .
  8. Looks really cool ! It's nice to see the old TD models once in a while . Nice job Cor , and thanks for sharing it with us .
  9. Even as a kid I never built any planes . My older brother did , but I always built cars . Somebody at work gave this Gee Bee Racer to me a few years ago , and I decided to do something with it . It's a pretty simple kit and if it wasn't for the paint it could be built in about a half hour ! I added the wires on the wings with piano wire and added a small motor from Radio Shack . It also had more decals than I've ever put on a model ! I spent about a week on this and it was a lot of fun , but I'm sticking with the cars !
  10. That's pretty cool ! Never seen one like it before , but I bet we see more now !

Absolutely the nicest looking '66 I've seen ! The front grille and headlights are the mostrealistic I've seen . I'll send you a replacement kit if you will send this one to me !
  12. It looks fantastic Ira ! I followed the build and I am always impressed how you just add things and they work ! And thanks for replying to my PM and clarifying it for me . BOB .

  16. Super nice build Paul ! I really like the color and your BMF looks excellent ! How do you polish it without messing up the BMF ?
  17. Great rebuild , and a beautiful model !
  18. Here's a couple more pictures . The AMT kit was wrong , clearly it is a '70 Chevelle !
  19. Those are great looking resin bodies ! Should be a cool little car when it's finished .
  20. Great start on a cool car ! I was a big fan of BRE back in the early 70's . . . had several slot cars of the 510's . Keep us updated !
  21. There was a magazine article last year about building a Red Alert Chevelle . I scanned and saved it for future use , I hope it helps . Here's a link to it : http://photobucket.com/scaleautomag
  22. Really nice looking Impala ! It looks good in black and the wheels look perfect .
  23. Thanks Mike. I used .030" 1/2 round rod from Evergreen . The original molding was .060" , big difference !
  24. You can try Spaz-Stix Ultimate Mirror Chrome . It's a rattle can spray that works exactly like Alcad . You can find it on Amazon for about $8 a can .
