  1. Hey James ! Sorry for not commenting sooner , but you already know that I think it is Gorgeous ! I never mentioned before that I like the way you did the 2 - tone paint , with the white on the top of the fins . Looks really sharp like that ! Great job !
  2. Those parts look pretty nice . I'll be buying a couple of these !
  3. Looks like time well spent ! A little more cleaning and they will look excellent .
  4. Retired after 20 years working on missile guidance systems in the USAF . Started my second career in auto body and painting . And spent the last 19 years doing R & D and engineering for a Cobra replica manufacturer . When that company was sold and moved to Texas I retired for good . I still do some work from home but mainly I relax and enjoy doing nothing for a change .
  5. Excellent looking model ! The detailing and finish is some of the best I've seen !

    Cobras

Really nice looking Cobras Ray ! Good luck finding an Exoto that is affordable now days , I've never seen any " on sale " . I bought this one about 10 years ago and thought it was too expensive at $160 but bought it anyway ! Glad I did since I'll never be able to afford one again .
  7. Beautiful ( again ) ! ! It looks very classy in that color . Welcome to the forum .
  8. That's really nice Drew . Has to be the prettiest Black Widow I've ever seen ! There are a lot of us who like building the old kits the way they are , take a look at the link in my signature , I think you'll like it !

    Flathead Vicky

    Very , very nice ! ! That's one beautiful Vicky !
  10. Ray , I really like the faded paint job and your color choices look great together . Personally I can live without the spoiler thing on the top , or maybe just something smaller . Overall I think it turned out just fine and that you are being too critical of yourself !

    Cobra

The more I look at your photos the more details I see . . . the engine is amazing ! How did you do the hose clamps and sending unit fitting ? Great colors too !

    32 FORD

VERY COOL ! ! And excellent detailing . I really like the shot of the under side showing the brake lines !
  13. Looks really nice ! Everytime I build this kit I automatically fix those same issues without even thinking . My last one I just polished the " molded in blue " body and it looked great !
  14. It's Sunday afternoon , two and a half days since Chris Economaki passed away , and not a single mention of him on this forum . That says alot about todays motorsports fan . Rest In Peace Mr . Economaki .
  15. Very nice job on your '56 ! I guess I'm in the minority here when I say I'd prefer to see a big block Ford in it .
  16. I almost forgot about this one , glad to see it's finished ! I'll be looking for it in the " Trucks - Under Glass " section where it WILL be moved to .
  17. The link works just fine , but I don't understand why you would post photos of your models on ebay . Can you explain ? I've been on ebay for several years and I've never looked at any " about me " pages .
  18. Wow ! She's a beauty ! !
  19. It's going to look great when you are finished ! That is a mighty nice looking promo you found . . . it must have cost a pretty penny !
