  1. Actually I can see them , I was just being polite . It's still a great looking car !
  2. The MPC '74 'cuda had a custom nose piece included . I'm trying to find one to take a photo of it .
  3. Now that looks really cool , right down to the tie-down straps ! Excellent work Nick !
  4. Very Cool ! That's an excellent tip , cheap , easy , and it looks great ! Thanks Rob .
  5. Bryan , I haven't looked in for a while and have to say it is looking awesome ! Great work so far .
  6. That's purty ! really nice job on this one ! Can't even see anything wrong with the decals in the pics .
  7. The flash and attachment of parts on the chrome tree doesn't look good . I thought this was an all new tooling ?
  8. The stock T is a neat little kit and fun to build . Your mods look like a good idea regardless of how the kit is built . I especially like your hinges so far !
  9. You aren't the only one with these problems . Particularly with the Plastruct items . The shapes that I've bought are a dark grey color ( ABS ) and nothing seems to work . Plastruct sells "Plastic Weld" which is suppossed to bond ABS to Styrene to butyrate plastics . I've never bought it because I figured I didn't need another cement sitting around . maybe it is the answer . Lately I avoid buying anythng that isn't styrene . As for the small styrene rod snapping when MEK is applied , it is very frustrating . I've started to use small dabs of super glue to locate the rod in position , then go back afterwards with the MEK to permanently bond it in place . This seems to solve the problem , maybe since the rod is already stressed and set in place before it is applied . I hope this helps .
  10. Wow ! That's pretty incredible ! We need more pictures !
  11. Very cool , and very well done ! Nice job with the throttle linkage . Edit - Nice trio of models you've posted . They are all really nice !
  12. You're right Casey . Once again the box art isn't close to the parts in the box !
  13. I bought that kit back in the early 70's and I think it had parts to build a Superbird but not the car on the box . I still have it in my stash , I'll get back to you . I checked and it has both the custom front and the Superbird front parts included . Here's a photo of the body parts .
  14. It's really a shame you had so many problems with this build , I can understand you not being happy with it ! That said , it is still very very impressive ! I'd like to see one that you like !
  15. Excellent ! I wonder if it will fit in my El Camino ( 1 : 1 ) ?
  16. That's Great ! Put a big smile on my face !
  17. Unless you sell regularly on ebay and are familiar with the shipping charged by the USPS and UPS it is easy to complain about what sellers charge . From what I can tell most of the shipping charges are "in the ball park" with some that charge the actual cost . Yes there are those that still try to make a killing with shipping charges , so just skip past them and keep looking !
  18. Ah yes , another Chevelle wagon ! One of my favorite kits , I have 5 and haven't built one ! You did great on this one , the interior is nicely detailed and the paint is awesome ! I also like those water drops !
  19. I received my tires today , Beautiful ! I hope your stock is good because I will be ordering more of them ! Thanks Joseph . BOB .
  20. Great looking build ! Beautiful paint and a really nice job on the BMF .
