  1. Amazing detail on a smaller scale ! Very nice work .
  2. Ditto , that's a beautiful Porsche !
  3. Jimmy Flintstone has what you are looking for .
  4. Finished it up today ! I'll post more pictures " Under Glass " in a little while . Thanks for looking 1 BOB .
  5. Bill , First I want to say that the quote in my signature line was not meant to offend anyone . I understand how you can want a model as accurate as possible . When I added that to my signature line I was thinking of those who will comment on anothers build because it has a '70 grille on a '69 model . That's what I consider a rivet counter , not someone who just wants an accurately molded '71 cuda ( me included ! ) .
  6. Looks very cool ! Excellent paint and BMF . Where did you get the wheels and caps ?
  7. I bought this a week ago at the auto parts store and it might be worth trying . I've done " Spoon " tests over lots of different paints and it hasn't affected any of them . I don't have any Alcad but I sprayed it on Spaz - Stix and it stayed bright and shiney ! It sprays very evenly and goes on very thin , it requires two coats for a nice shine .
  8. Gorgeous Paint ! ! Absolutely the nicest Vette I've seen in a long time ( including 1 : 1 ) .

    40 Ford

It looks better with no top ! I like the color and the wheels and tires .
  16. That's reeeally nice ! The color contrasts nicely with the chrome .
  17. You are correct Harry ! They are based on car frames and suspensions and were never desighed to haul a 1/2 ton load like a pickup truck . Unfortunately one of the moderators doesn't agree and keeps moving them !
  18. The PE saw blades work great for small cuts in tight places and for delicate work . Don't even think about making larger panel cuts , the blades are pretty flimsey and not designed for it .
  19. I never thought I would say a police cruiser was beautiful , but yours is ! Very nice work .
  20. In the " Tips, Tricks , and Tutorials " section , look for " Replacement Windshield Heat Formed " . For some reason I can't link to it , but it's on the bottom of the second page .
  21. One member of this forum did a nice tutorial using polyethelene soda bottles and a heat gun . It looked like it worked really great ! Some one should remember who it was .
  22. Thanks for the " Thumbs Up ' guys ! It wasn't near as challenging as a nice car model , but the paint job got me motivated to finish it . Austin - Sorry, no video , just these photos .
  23. Tony , One of the nicest Chevelles posted here in a long time ! Beautiful paint and trim work . Just a suggestion , If you open a Photobucket account ( free ) and post larger pictures , you will get a lot more replies !
  24. This is an excellent idea for a new section . Keeping it voluntary and with a set list of questions is a must . Along with the obvious modeling questions , a short biography would be interesting too . Although since most members won't even post their age it may not be answered much .
  25. This is very cool ! I really like where you are headed with this .
