It's definetly worth the price ! I have a couple of resin bodies from other manufacturers and never attempted building them because of the extra work involved . I guess you really do get what you pay for !
And thanks again to everyone for your comments !
BOB.
Wow ! Those are some beautiful race cars , and you really race them ? I'd be afraid of damaging them , they deserve to be displayed with all the other great models on this forum !
Awesome work Art !
This was my first resin kit and it wasn't as different as I thought it would be . It's from Motor City Resins and is a nice kit .
The yellow is Krylon Bright Idea and the stripe is Tamiya TS - 31 Bright Orange . I modified the chassis from the Monogram '70 Torino GT and the engine is the 351C from the Revell Mach I kit with home made valve covers .
The only real problem I had was with the windshield . I pre - fit everything and it was just fine . Then during the final assembly it wasn't even close to fitting ! After several attempts I was just making things worse so it got glued in like it was .
Thanks for looking !
If a 1/24 scale car is 7.5 inched long , minus the 3.41% you say is the difference , gives us 7.24 inches in 1/25 scale . That's 1/4 of an inch difference .
I've got the '70 Torino GT Pro Modeler kit . It's a really nice kit but other than a little bit of PE there is nothing extra in it . The instructions look normal and the box is too big to store with my other models .
Another beautiful build Jim ! The color combo looks really nice on the interior . Can't see the engine to clearly but the distributor looks like it has some nice boots on it .
