  1. Dave , Your PayPal link isn't working for me . Is there another way to buy tickets ?
  2. Excellent paint and a great looking custom !
  3. Real . It's the press release photo for the 1965 concept . Nice .
  4. It's been about three weeks since I worked on my Metropolitan , so yesterday I spent a couple of hours cleaning up the body . I reworked the wheel openings to be more uniform , and I replaced the side molding with a smaller size 1/2 round rod . Overall it looks a lot better now . The interior , chassis , and engine are basically finished , so I'm getting ready for paint . Shouldn't be long now .
  5. This is going to be fun to watch ! That body looks really nice , I'll have to check them out .
  6. Really great looking ! Nice color too .
  7. Really nice job with the PL kit , it looks great ! Nice to see one of LeeRoy's cars , he was one of my favorites .
  8. Absolutely Gorgeous ! ! The opening top is great ! A real show piece .
  9. That is really cool ! I like the original firewall detail , too bad they cleaned it off .
  10. Very , very nice ! Beautiful paint and wow , it's really low !
  11. Now that I look at it again , it looks kinda weird . Maybe you could use it for something?
  12. I forgot to mention that the Ford Blue on the engine is actually Rustoleum Sail Blue # 7724 . I've used it on a few 1:1 engines and it is a perfect match . It's costs a lot less too !
  13. Great work Brad ! You really improved on a so-so kit that is lacking in alot of areas . The stacks and header are impressive and so is the BMF you applied . You are definetly ready to move up to more detailing !
  14. Great looking model !

Interesting . So you waxed the base coat and then sprayed a rust color over it ?
  17. Great looking COPO ! Nice color and the chassis detailing is perfect .
  18. Really nice lookin build . Beautiful paint and super clean !
  19. Excellent idea ! You've got a good start there , I like the shape and the ramp . Have you seen the trailer that comes with AMT's Silhouette ? It's got a silmilar shape and maybe part of it could be used . PM me if you're interested . I have a spare .
  20. Oops , I used your line with my last post . Great looking trio of 51's you've got there ! What kit is it ? I need to get a couple .
  21. Another sweet '51 ! Did you BMF the diamond plate or spray it ? It looks really good .
  22. Very sweet Bruce ! I like the color and really like the opened trim on the hood !
  23. Not much else I can say that hasn't already been said . . . very realistic . Only one thing bothers me , that redline tire just looks out of place . Maybe a layer of dirt would help ?
  24. I've never tried this with a tailgate but it works great for tire lettering . Take an old cd and brush some acrylic white paint ( I prefer Humbrol ) onto the shiney side . Lightly press the part into the paint and remove it. This takes a little experimenting to get the amount of paint right , but each time it doesn't look right you can just wipe it off with a damp cloth !
