  1. I love these! Some of them would look great in my 1/87 scale circa 1961 trailer park dio that I am gathering stuff for.
  2. Very cool looking build!
  3. The wood looks good...........good lookin' wood,.............lol. I'm going to have to read that tutorial and give it a shot too.
  4. Did a very nice job on that. A buddy and I were just speaking of that resin body today. I see where you corrected a few things.
  5. Man, that's beautiful! That color is awesome, and it came out great too! Totally 1962 era kustom!
  6. Those are both awesome!! What paint did you use on the stock one?
  7. Yes, Cordoba is built on the same B body platform.
  8. Gorgeous!!!!
  9. Looks very close to me! Nice!
  10. Removed the door tampos, buffed it out, and blackwashed the hub caps. Along with the larger Revell '50 Olds tires, I think it's good enough for my display case. I bought the 1:64 ones back when they released them, Johnny Lightning has been bought out by Tomy now, and no one knows whats in store for them..........hopefully we'll see more. Great line of small diecasts.
  11. I don't mind stickin' mirrors on, if I had 'em. See my ad in the wanted section.
  12. That is just plain COOL !! Love it, from the signage, the colors, to the wheels and tires.
  13. X4! Maybe I'll grab the Moebuis kit and put it away in hopes that someone will do a wagon eventually.
  14. This is a factory Augusta Green metallic promo by MPC that I've had since the early '80s. Back then, I had detailed it with the famous Testors silver paint.........not to great. So last week, I dug it out, cleaned off all the silver, and foiled it. I also painted and detailed the interior, buffed it out, and changed the wheels and tires to the Royal Monaco/New Yorker deluxe wheel covers found in the late '70's Dodge van kits. They fit nicely onto a set of old US Royal Master whitewalls. Fills the wheel wells up a bit better than the factory tires.
  15. Looks awesome! I really like the body on these. Home-made flames are cool!
  16. Most excellent resto!
  17. Yes, one of the best replica stock '50 Olds for sure! Beautiful!
  18. Fantastic looking build! Great color combo and tires and wheels are perfect on it!
  19. Awesome!
  20. Scored one! My local store had about 7 or 8 of them. Here it is with the Revell '50 Olds tires on it. They fill up the wheel wells a little better and they are wider. Wish I had an extra set of the pad printed wide whitewall ones though. Still need a 5th one for the side mount spare. I haven't decided yet what to do about the door tampo. I like the red and black on the truck, and the paint is pretty decent. I hate to take it apart and re-do the whole thing. Perhaps I'll try to remove the tampo. If I screw up, I can always decal the doors. And for the bed, I've been thinking about a load of International tractor parts that I can rust up.
  21. Awesome! I'm going to get one tomorrow! Website says my local store has them in stock. I love those wide whites and artillery wheels.
  22. Shoot the money to a fellow modeler and have him order for you. I wouldn't go without the product because i couldn't pay online. Where there's a will, there's a way.
