  1. That one is incredible Jim! Bring this one to the meeting, want to see this one in person!
  2. LOL..............yes, I second that. This thing is incredible!!!
  3. Awesome!
  4. Paint job is killer on that one!
  5. Came out great! I love those old travel stickers.
  6. Wow, that's one crazy '70's custom! I like the color on it and the wire rollers are far out! Ain't the front end fun on these kits? I'm working on my stock one now, pain to get everything lined up.
  7. Came out fantastic! I can never get Krylon to work for me anymore. You did great with it! I agree too, about the grille.
  8. Awesome! Love everything about it!
  9. Wow, what a beautiful build! It looks real. Can't get over how real the Cragars look on it too!
  10. Beautiful conversion!
  11. Heck, I never knew there was an Explorer with a stick shift!
  12. Wow, first time! You're a pro! Looks awesome!
  13. Oh yeah! That looks great! I've yet to try the salt technique, but I plan on it.
  14. Looks cool Jim. Did you use the woodgrain technique on the rear floor?
  15. Gorgeous! Looks like you just built it, and it also looks like a real car sitting there!
  16. Super! You are really shaping up your collection there!
  17. Got these cheap off the 'Bay. Took them apart, cleaned them, buffed the factory plastic out, applied the correct black to the window shading, detailed them, and added white walls from vinylnationdecals. The '97 Expedition is Pacific Green Pearl, and I believe it was a snap kit. The '95 Explorer Limited is Deep Iris metallic, it's a promo. The Expedition has a tire burn in one rear side window, and the Explorer has a couple of scratches that I can't get out, but they still look cool in the case.
  18. I've got both, I'll try and let you guys know what happens.
  19. I'm trying to do it without hurting the glossy metallic plastic, it's a promo. I'm afraid the easy off would be too harsh.
  20. I have a Ford Ranger promo that I am trying to remove the factory stripes from without damaging the plastic. It's molded in purple and I'd like to save the finish. The stripe is not really a decal. It's more like a very think sticker, that is literally stuck like glue. I may be able to get a millimeter at a time with my fingernail! I've tried spirits, goo gone, (not harsh enough to cause anything I can't buff out) Nothing is working. Any ideas?
  21. Very nice! I've had some cars that I wish I had never sold too.
  22. I didn't even pay attention to the side of the box! Oh well, my primer will bury it. Just always nicer to start with a neutral color.
  23. Just picked one of these up with a Hobby Lobby coupon. It's the one that's shown in orange on the box. Opened it up and was surprised to find the dang thing is molded in bright orange. Are they all like this? Would have been much happier to have it molded in white.
