You did a great job on that kit. I have been on a kick to build some of the older kits that have been released and they can be a challenge to make look good. Yours looks good, very good.

Bob, you are 100 % right ! Interest took a dive when I was working on the engine. I chalked it up to my old eye and my fat fingers. I will finish it !

It looks like you are doing a bang up job on this kit.

Got more done on the buggy. I was all gung-ho on this build when I started but for some reason loss my drive about half way through the engine. Not sure why. Anyway forging ahead I have the body painted but still needs to be cleared. The wheels and tires are assembled. I sanded off the molded in gauges on the dash and then cut a new panel from sheet plastic and drilled the holes and put gauge decals on the back side. The roof was painted gloss black and then I used HOK Marblizer over that. That also still needs to be cleared. The engine is finished for the most part. I wired it up although I must admit the wiring job is a bit messy. I guess this won't be my perfect model either. Better luck next time. : ) Comments welcome as always good or bad.

I don't think taking "other" coupons is all that unusual any more. Around her our grocery stores will accept other store coupons and Wallyworld now matches prices and I think accept other coupons. I work part time at a Petco store and we also will accept others coupons. I was very nice of that woman to give you a coupon however. You have to love those 40 and 50 % coupons even if those stores don't have the best selction sometimes.
