Nice work space.

I finished this up a little bit ago. Not terribly happy with it but don't think it's too bad. I didn't like the big headlights from the kit so I tried something different. I molded in some plastic tube and then put some Krystal Klear inside. ( still white but should dry clear ) I changed the tail lights and installed the rear spoiler. Lowered the front a bit but not the rear. I had other plans for this kit but early in the building I got tired of it and just wanted to get it done. It is what it is.

Buggy is finished ! Photos will be posted in the under glass section if interested. I will never build another on of these again.

Going to use these two kits to build a car for this thread.

I should wrap up this puppy this weekend sometime. I will be glad to have it done. Can't really put my finger on why this build went from a fun thing to a chore. No major problems but still did not enjoy it all that much. Maybe because it's not what I normally build. Anyway, body has been cleared and most of the parts that still need to be attached are painted and ready to go.

Cost of model, 20 dollars. Cost of paint and supplies, 12 dollars. Time spend relaxing and building, priceless.

It's amazing how much slamming a car and changing the wheels and paint can improve a die cast. It looks very good.

It looks like one from a set that I bought at Hobby Lobby not long ago. It came in a set of 5 or 6 and was under 10 bucks for the set. If the same they are a good value for the money .
