  1. I had to assemble a crib this morning. My daughter and grandson will be visiting next month and my wife though we should have a crib for the little guy. I don't know what blind third grade child designed this thing but there was no way following the directions anyone could put this thing together. After I threw down the assembly guide things went much better.
  2. The ones I have to change the station on are not "bad" commercials I just can not watch are the ones that show the abused and mistreated animals. I am all for helping to support these causes and my wife and I do donate to them, I just can not stomach watching them .
  3. Thank you Bruce.
  4. Thank you much fellows.
  5. Thank you Dave.
  6. Thanks. I ordered one I think will work out.
  7. Thanks, this was pre smash. Never noticed that to be honest.
  8. Wife and I went to the movie theater for the first time in about 15 months. No mask needed if you had your shot/shots. We used to go at least once a month so this was a treat. Add to that lunch at Portello's. Doesn't get a whole lot better than that IMO.
  9. Started with the Monogram kit . As I wrote in my WIP the car was not always the same color . Research shows it was at times black , purple , maroon and gray . I saw an episode where Wally tells Beaver they painted the car gray . Found the picture you will see and although black and white it sure looks like a dull gray to me . And that is the photo I used as my guide . Simple Tamiya primer body . Never found any info on interior color and photos I found show it sometimes a light color and sometimes a dark color . I chose a brown Krylon Short Cuts color . Trim is Molotow pen . Aluminum tail pipes .
  10. Thank you James.
  11. Thanks Gareth. I really like those wheels. They make the car IMO.
  12. Lots of work but those wheels are beautiful.
  13. Cool ! I will be watching for the WIP on this one.
  14. Great looking model, good job !
  15. Model looks good and I love the real car. I bought a new Torino Sport in 73. Nice car but holy cow that front bumper. It was a good place to sit !
  16. Thank you fellows.
  17. Thank you all for your responses. Saw one I think would be ideal. I work on a roll top desk so I can close the top and hide my mess.
  18. Thank you much fellows.
  19. I believe this may have been asked before but I was unable to find it. So....... I am looking for better lighting for my work bench. I am now using a desk lamp with a flexible arm and a 60 watt bulb. No good ! Light beam is too concentrated and I have shadows. As my eyes get older I need better light. Can anyone recommend something they use and like ? I have a visor with a light but I really don't care much for that. Thanks
  20. Very well done. Beautiful work.
