Craig, So far I really like this clear. I did not polish the paint. This is how the clear alone worked. I don't like to polish so this clear could be a good answer for me. Up till i bought this I was using Wet Look Clear which I like but I believe this is better. IMO

I like it. It's a pretty nice kit. I just finished mine today. -
The only problem I have had with that clear is it tends to bubble if you lay it on too close or too heavy.

Finished up today . No mods just straight from the box . Paint is Tamiya Metallic Orange outside and Short Cuts white on the interior . Was cleared with Duplicolor 1K clear .

Yesterday, roaming around Hobby Lobby looking for someone to help me. It also irks me that in one HL they hand me the paint and another HL the help has to take the paint to the check out.
