  1. Thanks. I cheated with the planking. It was giving me fits and I ended up using some Tamiya putty to fill in the gaps. I still have to learn how to plank better.
  2. This is where I am now on this kit . Still a bit puzzled by these things but am learning at least some things as I muddle along . This kit is far and away better than the last one .
  3. Cheesy movie ( watched it 3 or 4 times ) but i really like the vehicle.
  4. I have never been a fan of the "show" cars or theme cars but for some reason I like the Uncertain T.
  5. I have been collecting Cobra"s for over 20 years. Last week I found a Cobra model kit on ebay that I have never seen. I put out a bid and was sure I would get sniped but after the week I was the only bidder and won . Very pleased to find and win a Cobra model I have never seen in all my years of looking. Pics when it arrives. Add another to the collection !
  6. One of my favorite builds going on right now .

  12. Very nicely done.
  13. Very nice work !
  14. Made some progress on this kit. I will post photos later today or tomorrow. I learned one thing while working on this kit. A better kit does not make you a better builder. I had a lot of problems doing the planking on this one but I still find enjoyment in even the problems. The fact that I not once even thought of throwing it up against the wall proves I like building these things. Making errors for sure but I am hopeful this one will turn out better than the first.
  15. Looks darn good to me !
  16. That's just crazy ! I love it !
  17. I think at one point or another I was guilty of doing all the above things ! I do take notice however when someone forgets to blacken the inside of a hood scoop that isn't hollow or the exit ends of chrome exhaust pipes. I have done those also.
  18. Oh my ! That does look pretty good !
  19. Thanks Bill, great video. Interesting look to the rear passenger car as well as the locomotive.
