Not normally my style of building as I prefer shiny but thought I would take a wack at a barn find style that maybe had some restoration done. Amt's 57 Vette with weathered white paint. Tires and wheels from the parts box as well as the roll bar and front axle. Flocked the interior but probably should not have seeing as its a race car. I planned on installing a pre wired distributor and ordered a couple but they have not yet arrived. Comments good or bad always welcome.
This morning I tried the Turtle Wax headlight restorer on my wife's Solara as they were a little discolored. I was amazed at how well it worked. The lens came out looking new. Good stuff IMO.
Just playing and trying to do something different. Not sure where this will end up. ( trash ?? ) Anyway, I cut about 1/4 inch from the center of the body. Glued and puttied back together. Going to use tires and wheels from a Jada die cast.
What the ?? You went from that blue convertible to that drag car ? I am impressed. Where did the roof come from ? I would have liked to see the building of this model.
To be clear, I like resin and don't mind working with it and somethings are only available in resin. I will still buy resin products and have but only from places like ebay where the kits or pieces are "on hand ".
