  1. Thanks for the heads up. There is no end to the tricks these scammers use to cheat people out of their hard earned money.
  2. Good luck with this project Bill. I know you can finish it !!! : )
  3. Thanks guys. You are very kind. Much better received than expected ( or deserved ) : )
  4. Very nice work. Great transformation.
  5. I like your progress. I didn't notice the hood on your paint job. I have found that with some metallic paints that if you do pieces separately they never match well.
  6. I have posted all the cabinets before. Not sure where I listed them but a search may find them.
  7. Don't recall if I ever built a helicopter before. This one my BIL purchased and asked if I would build for him. ( seems I have been building a lot for other people lately : ) Anyway this is the type of copter they had on the Princeton aircraft carrier when he was stationed on it many years ago. How could I say no ?
  8. Jerks like that are why I sold my Harley in 2005 and doubt I will ever have another bike.
  9. I don't care for it even a little.
  10. Different, that's what I was going for. : )
  11. That looks very good to me !
  12. Did he just get out of shape or was he attempting a turn ? They can repair that $$$$$$
  13. First off, it's ok to laugh. I built this as a crazy idea I had to build something different. I have in my Cobra collection between 625 and 650 Cobra's. ( models, die cast ect. ) Every so often I just try to create something different. ( stupid ) This one began as the Revell 1/32 snap kit. I cut about 1/4 inch out of the middle and mated the halves back together. Wheels and tires as well as seat and roll bar came from a Jada die cast. Hood scoop and windscreen came from the parts box. Cockpit cover was made from sheet plastic. Color is Icy Blue with a couple coats of clear. As I said just a crazy model to put something a bit different in the display case.
  14. Sure would like to use this kit to make a replica of a new one I bought way back when. Mine was a conversion and did not have a back seat. There was a platform that was made into a bed. A small bed. : ) I would never be able to pull it off however. No way I could duplicate the paint or mural.
  15. Cool ! I built that kit not too long ago and the only problem I remember was the track was way tight and put to much pressure on the wheel assembly.
  16. Yes it was the Princeton. No capsule that I noticed in the box. Couple years ago I built him a model of the ship and also bought him a section of the wood deck from when ship was scrapped.
  17. My sister bought me a Bottle Breacher as seen on the TV show Shark Tank. Had my name engraved on it as well. I don't drink anything that comes in bottles but it's cool anyway.
  18. Today I got a couple of pre wired distributors that I ordered from M.A.D. a few days ago. Great service and I can recommend. Also from my BIL a Revell Marine UH-34D Helicopter. Years ago he was in the Marines and stationed on a aircraft carrier. I think he said CV-37 or CVS-37 but I could be wrong about that. Anyway he asked me to build it as this was the type of the copters on the ship at the time.
  19. I happen to have a fondness for Cobras having a few myself and I can say that yours look very, very nice . Great work !!
  20. They both look great ! Very nice work.
  21. I agree, great start !
  22. Looks pretty nice . I have been building models for 50 years and I still mess up paint jobs more often than I care to admit.
  23. Your work is amazing !
  24. Now how much fun would this forum be without you reminding us to install mirrors and stay away from floating alternators !!
  25. Thank you all for the kind words and yes, I do agree the roll bar is a tad too tall.
