  1. Boy, you got that right ! I search ebay for one all the time. 1/43 resin ones seem to go for 60 or more. I saw the resin kit go for well over 150.00. The slot car ones are out of sight. There is a resin body only on ebay from time to time that is reasonable but I don't have the skills to make it into a decent model. I would love it if someone would come out with one. I bet they would sell very well.
  2. Tiny parking spaces. What's the deal with these little parking spaces I see all over ? Do the people who do the layout think everyone drives a Honda Civic ? I drive a F-150 Super Crew which is by no means the biggest vehicle out there but so many parking spaces seem so narrow nowadays . When I go to my doctors office at a nearby hospital you need to park in a parking structure and although I find open spaces which are near the elevators if I pull in them I won't be able to open my door and the poor person on my right would have the same problem.
  3. Very clever, very clever. How about a photo with a model in it ?
  4. Very nice work.
  5. I keep mine in glass cabinets which are mostly converted gun cabinets and one glass china cabinet. I also have some in cabinets in my garage. Too dusty here to keep them in open display.
  6. It is indeed the old kit we all know.
  7. Outstanding work to be sure, I just hope since I am 62 that I will see it finished before they throw dirt in my face. : )

  17. Except for being flipped it is laid out just like the Texaco station where I had my first job in 1968. You can trust you car to the man who wears the star.... The big red Texaco star !! : )
  18. Call the city, maybe they will tow it.
  19. The moons came from my parts box and I can't recall where they came form sorry.
  20. Very interesting. I would also like an update please.
  21. Got this one done today. I call it my Disneyland car due to the fact I had to Mickey Mouse the suspension and the installation of the small block Ford. I wanted it lower too but that would have required more work than I wanted to tackle. It has parts box wheels and tires, AMT metal injector stacks, chopped the windshield a bit, parts box headers. Paint is Green Go with clear on top. Comments pro or con always welcome. Thanks for looking.
