  3. Thanks guys !
  4. Thanks Skip. That is very cool and I would suspect scary fast.
  5. If asked before sorry I didn't find much. Wanting to know how you do or handle headliners ? Do you just paint the underside of the roof or do something else ? Looking for something better than just brushing on some paint. Ideas ? Photos ? Thanks
  6. If you are familure with this kit you know it is a multi piece body. I decided to try one again after many years. Still don't care for them. I did the best I could and think it turned out OK. Not totally happy with it but I never am. Instead of the 4 banger I installed a Ford 289 from the AMT Cobra kit. The fact that this engine seems a little undersize helped to make it fit in this car. I added a hood scoop from the Cobra kit as well as the headers and modified the exhaust to fit. I opened the rear wheel wells a bit to make room for tht larger tires. I also made a rear spoiler from a piece of sheet plastic. The body was painted Metallic Black and then Ultra High Gloss enamel clear. Comments both good and bad are always welcome. Thanks for looking.
  7. Now that the GT6 is finished I will be able to work more on this one. No big changes yet. I just used some sheet plastic to enclose the cockpit so there isn't such a gap between the body and the frame.
  8. This "thing" is done. Photos will be posted in the "Under Glass" section later if interested.
  9. Kind of makes you dizzy if you look at it too long. : )

  14. I hope so Dave. : )
  15. Very nice, clean build.
  16. Thanks guys. I hope to get back to work on this one soon. Now if the darn High Gloss Enamel would dry on my GT6 wip I could finish it and make some space for this one. : )

  24. I will turn 62 towards the end of this month. I have been building on and off for well over 50 years. You would think with all the building I have done I would be a better builder. I have quit several times and always come back to it. Read an article not long ago that stated that things like model building and jigsaw puzzles as well as crossword puzzles are great for us older people. Helps keeps the mind sharp and the hand and eye coordination good. Don't know if that's all true or not but I am now building as much as I ever did. I plan on stopping only if my eyes get alot worse or when I take my dirt nap. : )
