  1. Takes time to refine an accurate tool. Not just drop an ehh turd, like revell's usual customers are used to.
  2. If I could find my kit. I'm sorry:/ It was slightly lower also. Surprised they even bothered to tool up a modified version.
  3. The custom version has a rear wheel drive chasiss.
  4. Not at all. Different cabs.
  5. The wheels and tires do seem ok for once. But the metal "axles" need a few mm loped off on each, front and back.
  6. Yea. That fraction a cent in styrene would be a real hindered to production costs. Just like making something correct the first time around is such a problem.
  7. No kito ever had the hood louvers either.
  8. Calkichi is Makoto Ukai San screen handle.
  9. I believe that is Uaki San's
  10. I think I found these pics on here?...not mine.
  11. There were people there for a reason. Why didn't you just ask them? They were very nice, and pleased to answer any questions anyone had.
  12. LHS had them last week. I will buy it:(
  13. Ed answered all of my questions. But he seemed like he didn't want to be there, and grumpy. Maybe just a long day. He did say that the fnf charger is a brand new tool. Not derrived from the diecast.
  14. OK so they can get this one lol. I'll be their overly harsh critic, but I'll still buy sometimes
  15. Much like the F40, the CF is visible sometimes. In person. Under the right lighting lol. Most of the time, it just looks like a matte very fine metallic brown. Much more noticeable here. http://www.lambocars.com/images/prototypes/sesto40.jpg
  16. Range Rover.
  17. It's not lol;) It does have the nice, not so obvious, work on it. Very clean, but very boring too.
  18. I hope they sell. I hope they're not more trouble than they are worth for Revell. And, hopefully, Chip Foose does have a fair stake, also invested in these. Thanks for the info on the Caddy's previous origins. Maybe I'll try and make the Boyd's version from this.
  19. Some of you guys keep hoping these new ideas of Revell's will bring in new builders. Has it ever before? Maybe these kits will sell. Maybe "all the Foose followers" will help on buying them up. What happens when his following dies off? When his styling becomes outdated, like the Barris or Roth. Yes, some of those designs are near and dear to some of you older guys lol. It doesn't mean they will transcend through the ages. All the tooling for brand new kits, that will most likely wind up at an Ollies in the near future. I'll buy one of the Caddies, but don't make Foose out to be the savior of revell lol. They need a lot more help to get back to making decent kits for model builders again.
