  1. Yes, that's the kit I used.
  2. That's probably the kit I used to make the T rat on the previous page. It was done using leftovers after I built my T bucket.
  3. Today's effort was dragging this lot out of the shed. I don't even know if the kit is complete.
  4. Something a little different this week. Can you identify the model? Can you identify this specific car? PM me with your answer (Make, model and year or exact car identification). Please do NOT post anything in the comments that will help others to identify the vehicle. Please do NOT use reverse image lookup, as it defeats the entire purpose of the game. Generic answer: 1953-56 Austin Healey 100s Specific car: This car was involved in the 1955 Le-Mans disaster. Details in this link. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2068015/Austin-Healey-racing-car-involved-1955-Le-Mans-disaster-sell-1m.html
  5. Ammo casings - cut up some thin brass wire (K&S stand at the hobby shop). They are already brass colored, so you don't need to paint them. For shotgun shells, use red insulated wire, and dab a little brass color on one end.
  6. The above pretty much sums up my thoughts on it, and on things like the Bond. Nowadays, out here (Australia) it is harder to get a bike licence, so there wouldn't be any market for them! They wouldn't pass Australian design rules either.
  7. 1951 Hoffmann http://www.microcarmuseum.com/tour/hoffmann.html Fortunately, there was only ever one of them. Those who got it right: bobthehobbyguy maltsr slotbaker Thom sjordan2 dw1603 Matt Bacon carsntrucks4you Earl Marischal For unknown reasons, I am unable to edit the original post.
  8. Select the "images" option, then click on the camera icon in the search bar.
  9. PM me with your answer. Do NOT identify the car in the publicly readable forum, as that ruins it for other players. I'm widening the constraints on the game. Cars do not need to have been production models. They may be unique, as long as the players have some chance of finding them. (This also does not mean I am taking over again - I figure we are grown up enough to take turns. If it means we get two cars to guess in a week, so be it.) Answer Friday.
  10. It's a model. http://www.classicplastic.org/pete-pb.html And I got it wrong...
  11. I now know the answer, so if our host forgets to answer soon, I will reveal all.
  12. Of my three faves, two are already well ahead. I just happened to vote for one that wasn't doing as well. That Smart car is just too awesome.
  13. It is virtually impossible to modify a photo in a way that google can't find it. Cropping it, flipping it, etc, all have no effect. Their AI search engine is that powerful. Harry - not as ready to take it back on as you thought?
  14. And had fun looking. All is good
  15. What I learned while looking for it was that Czechs used to drive on the left back then... but I had to cheat to find it.
  16. I got as far as Fiat, which isn't bad, all things considered.
  17. This is usually at the top of each real or model. Anyone who has played before knows this. => "If you know the source of the photo don't post that info here! It ruins the game for everyone else." As for revealing the source, you gave all the details anyone would need to plug it into google and get the answer, that is assuming they don't believe your "statement of fact" => "It's real—Jack Harris Racing VRA nostalgia Funny Car. He also campaigns a Nitro Thunder Top Fuel car, and recently a nostalgia Trans Am FC." May I respectfully point you to the last time someone did exactly this. Read the last comment on this thread. => http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/67293-real-or-model-206/ Thus, please consider yourself made aware of the rules.
  18. ApexSpeed - you are NOT meant to ruin it for others by stating the source.
  19. I don't think matching wheel-well spacing was that much of a priority, going on some of the vehicles in Fury Road.
  20. If it's a model, its a very good one!
  21. People to correctly identify this car: maltsr ChrisR warra48 Dominik matthijsgrit dw1603 Zandmann carsntrucks4you Draggon chunkypeanutbutter wku88 Ace-Garageguy GeeBee bbsbase Earl Marischal Richard Bartrop
  22. This is the NSU Ro80 built from 1967 to 1977. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NSU_Ro_80 (Please note this challenge is for fun, only. A single car is posted each week by admin Harry P. or his delegate.)
  23. you need a lawnmower motor up front to "fool" the cops.
  24. You can register and drive a LHD vehicle here, as long as it is over 30 years old.
