  1. I have already glued two pieces of plastic together. It's a start! I have a huge junkbox load I bought off ebay that are pretty worthless for regular car building as wheels/engines etc. are all trashed or missing. This project won't need either!
  2. I have been intrigued by other models I have seen made along these lines. I even thought they could make for a cool build. The big question is would this pull me from my 2 year long slump?
  3. Having settled on using a V8, the mad mechanic had no choice but to warp space to put them in line. (That, or use a lot of mirrors.)
  4. I've never seen one before, but looking at it, it was fairly obvious as to what it had to be.
  5. "1970s exotic car" - first page!
  6. The Pontiac Tempest engine was like this. It's even available in kit form in as "Mickey Thompson's Pontiac Attempt 1"
  7. You found the actual car?
  8. Ignore the fender vent.
  9. I failed to find this one, despite a lot of looking. You got me
  10. I immediately recognized it as a Riley or (I forgot the name of other manufacturer) so it wasn't too hard to find. My friends and I had traveled in this model Wolseley to go and check out the Riley version. Somewhere I have a photo of it in my front yard.
  11. I've actually had a ride in one of these.
  12. Of course, the biggest clue was parked right beside it!
  13. 24 inline. That would be a looooooong time in the making.
  14. Believe it or not "One-off sports car" was all it took to find on Google. It was the second car pictured!
  15. I'm pretty sure I found every sleek red sports car on the planet - except this one.
  16. True. All the "Adult" interior space is vertical in these.
  17. I 've had to push one of these suckers a few times.
  18. Alpine has the wrong hub-caps
  19. Maybe based on a porch though - it's large and flat!
  20. And indeed, they didn't endorse it! My first searches specifically excluded Porsche, so, needless to say, I wasn't having much luck.
  21. Color me boggled! I found it!
  22. My slump is too well entrenched....
  23. It was obviously a British styled kit-car, but despite putting in many hours of searching, I was unable to find anything like it.
  24. So, this is what you get when you cross a miata with an E type. It seems ALL of the people who own these (assuming there is more than one) are too embarrassed to post pictures on the internet. Zero, zip, zilch, nada, nothing.
