  1. Thanks for the positive feedback, guys! I got it painted today........ Tomorrow I will start on the foil.
  2. Cool! Thanks...... Here's a test fit to see how well things are gonna fit. This kit hasn't fought me in the least, it's an excellent kit... The color I'll be painting the body will be Duplicolor Dark Garnet Red Pearl....
  3. Interior is done, minus mounting the steering wheel..... need to mount the firewall first...... Thanks for checking in, and comment freely....
  4. Got the seats finished.....
  5. Wow, this is tedious, but fun...... first time trying piping!
  6. Hey, Friend..... MPC made a '73 Charger. I used one for this build, bashed with the AMT '71 Charger to make a more detailed build. The MPC kit is very simple....
  7. tough actin' Tinactin.....
  8. Cale, those rims in the top pic are pretty cool! I want to get an old '70s wheel like a Keystone or something to stick in my apartment here.......
  9. Big Pharma doesn't create cures, they create customers........ Thank you, Bill, your post made me nod and agree.....
  10. Really digging on this build, Man...... I wanted to mention that Tamiya makes a Deep Red, I think it's called just that....... It's very close to the color that you have mixed here.
  11. That's a good idea! Also it would look like a padded dash........ just right for a custom.....
  12. You guys are great for offering advice, thanks! From what you have said, my problem may simply be a clogged fan.... the computer isn't slow at all, it's pretty crisp and responsive..... it's just loud when it's first started. I bought this computer as a "cleaned" used one and haven't really installed a bunch of stuff on it. I do use CCleaner pretty often. It's a GS620 with a Pentium D processor. The side is easy to open, I may shut it down soon and try to clean some dust out of it........ Thank you, Guys....
  13. Finished the chassis..... I'm working on getting the interior stuff painted. Going with pearl white for the inside...... the exterior will hopefully get painted Deep Cranberry Pearl from Duplicolor. So I need you guys opinion..... should the dash get painted the body color, or painted white? I'm leaning towards body color, but I'm not sure..... Thanks for looking in....
  14. When it's downloading updates and when I'm streaming music the fan runs very fast....... I've cleaned the front fan and spooned a bit of 3n1 oil onto the shaft before, that helped a bit......
  15. Me too..... I glean so much info and help with my techniques from here. I'm glad you guys let me hang out here....
  16. Finished the engine.......
  17. Wanted to show today's progress.... Got the frame together and the rear suspension painted and ready to attach once the exhaust goes on. I'm trying to get rid of the roof dimple by priming and sanding..... I believe it's gonna work. Also goofing around with an idea for the interior with some craft felt Thanks for looking and comment freely....
  18. Hey, Guys..... I'll try to answer your questions and give some instances where it acts like it's running hot........ I have a Dell Optiplex with Windows 7. From what you guys have said, it might not be memory I need. I thought using half of it was a lot, but I guess it isn't.... It acts like it's overheating when I start it of a morning and it's checking for updates, which I manually install once or twice a month. Also when I'm streaming music on Napster. Usually there is about 40 or so processes running according to the Task Manager........
  19. I've gotten started on a '60 Ford...... it's the latest release of the AMT Starliner kit. It has some flash, and the mold lines on the body were very raised..... I've pretty much taken care of those, tho.... I also started the engine... (not literally). I wanted to use a Paxton supercharger on it, but it looks as though that's not going to work out..... need to fix the exhaust manifold. Question for you guys, there is a very shallow dimple where the dome light is on the roof...... It's not deep enough for filler, but it will show if I just paint over it. How do I get rid of it? Just prime and sand until it's gone? This is my current project while I take a break from the ship model..... Thanks!
