Duplicolor touch-up paint question
JollySipper replied to dmthamade's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I do primer, paint, and clear all in one day. I like to do it all while I'm "in the groove" so to speak......... you do want to wait about 3 or 4 days to polish the clear, tho..... These paint jobs aren't polished, once you get the hang of the spray pattern it's almost impossible to get orange peel and such.... -

TOOL is on Napster now....... something I thought I would never see. They have a new single out called "Fear Inoculum" from an upcoming album by the same name........ It sounds pretty good.... -
I have a birthday coming up, and would like to get my first large scale auto kit....... There are two kits in particular that I would be interested in. One is the 1/16 Porsche 959, the other is the 1/16 Lamborghini Countach LP500S. They are both from Fujimi.......... Anyone have pics of one or both of these kits, reviews, or any opinions regarding them? If you do, please share.........

So Microsoft is doing away with Win7........ I currently am using a Win7 Dell desktop computer. I have the option in my control panel thingey for "windows anytime upgrade". Would this be free to download, or is there a charge for it? It was offered for free a while back. Thanks for any help and discussion.....

You may could chrome the entire piece like you mentioned, then clear the chrome with their respective recommended clears, then do the body color part....... I would think the chrome's clear coat would be tougher and less likely to lift than the bare chrome...... -

All you need is the DupliColor code in column "E" to order any of these colors from your local auto parts store. I've ordered from Advance before to get a color they didn't have in stock... -

I LIKE that! Of course, I like anything funky and unusual........ Too bad they had to crash one of them. Didn't the Diablo have that same rear arch? -

Hey, fellas! So I've been working on this for a couple days...... It's the Revell '50 F1 that everyone knows so well. Going with a tail-draggin' stance and a few mild custom touches..... Wheels from the '58 Vette and I think the tires are from the '60 Starliner.... still need to attend to the mold seams and attachment points on the body parts..... Not sure on the color, but I do want to use the scallop decals that this kit comes with..... The basis of the engine is done..... Comments are more than welcome, Thanks.....
