I'm a music nerd, always looking for new music to listen to. I don't play any instruments, unless you count banging on my acoustic guitar.... The more obscure, the better! I like to listen to how artist manipulate notes, whether or not they will do what you expect next. That's the main reason I like a lot of the free based jam groups, always surprising you with what they pull out of their hats....... There's not a good video of the song, but if you have an internet music account somewhere, you should check out C2B3's song "Elephant Ghost"..... a 10 minute jam full of surprises..... Oh, and Les Claypool is my hero..... That in itself should make me a Huge nerd!

You know what, Snake? I had actually thought of using a real clock, all it would take would be a small wooden "frame" in the back and a small hole for the stem to stick thru.... put some foam inside the small frame to hold the clock in place. You can get a clock kit for about $6.............

and A good idea! Now I'm thinking a burning candle somewhere.... Maybe him holding a candle in one hand, staff in the other, face of a clock. I learned in Art class about critiques and brainstorming, that's just what this is....... and pieces would always come out better with input from others...... Thanks, Guys!

I'm going to order myself some canvases and paints soon. I have this idea to incorporate the Grim Reaper and a clock into a painting..... I've sketched out a couple of test compositions, and want to hear what you guys might think. The picture will either be of Grim holding a clock, or him with the face of a clock..... So, tell me which one would be more interesting as a painting......... Thanks!

I absolutely Love the GTS coupe....... There are still low mileage examples out there, too. I've seen them with less than 5K miles on them. Now to just win the Lottery! -

That's a beautiful car, Man......... Have you built a model of it yet? I like both looks! but you just can't go wrong with chrome reverse.............. -
Cale, looks like I gave you some bad advice, man and I apologize......... I had the idea the engine had run since it has, and I was thinking I would want to get it out of the possible rats nest of a wiring harness........ once you start running current through those wires, you could start a fire among other problems. That was my concern, but you should listen to Bill, as he's the man with electric systems............. Sorry

How Old Are You
JollySipper replied to iamsuperdan's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Some of you guys' age I'm a little surprised at........ I knew the majority of you were older, but some of you act or seem (on the forum, anyway), to be Younger than you say! Maybe there's a sorta "fountain of youth" for the mind in these boxes of plastic............... -
pretty good song...........
